I don't want to be a doom merchant but if there is any truth in that, does it mean Cashin is being sold? It's not a position that essentially needs strengthening atm. 

Ipswich play a very high press and the midfielders are trusted to carry, they can win games different ways. That works at any level.

My mate is from Ipswich and says they are a joy to watch under McKenna. Similar to Saints under Martin. That’s how I want the Rams to play, like under Mac and George #thatsentertainment

The play with a style! They achually use there midfield get playere in the box to score goals our striker is so isolated he goes looki for the ball and ends up out wide they also dont have every attack out wide they mix it up

Agreed, I don't remember Ipswich playing pretty football at all either. I do remember them being very physical and that Lee Evans should have been sent off when they beat us 1-0 though. That physicality in the middle of the park is what we're lacking right now, and is likely the reason they looked more effective while employing similar tactics.

Don’t hugely rate hourihane but think he is doing a better job than bird to be honest. Bird seems to be a midfielder who is neat at passing. Even that creates little though.
Tackling non existent, shooting is two a season, has no pace, little energy. Not bringing enough to the table for me.
hourihane also tackles horribly. But at least assists and scores more.

Warne must have looked at the tactical impact of the great DMs - Keane, Vieira, Makélélé, Davids, Kante, Busquets - and gone - "Nah, just play two standard centre mids and boot the ball over their heads".
