Just like he did St John's Ambulance a favour and we had to have a whip round to settle Morris' debts.
Think your rose tinted glasses are becoming a little fogged up.

I don't think he's the anti-christ, he's simply beneath contempt for the totally cowardly way he's ran away from the mess he's created and shafted club employees and small businesses and potentially jeopardised the total existence of the football club.
We all make mistakes in life but non of us exist in a vacuum and would have a million times more respect for Morris if he admitted he did makes mistakes but then strive with every nerve and sinew to make them good before passing control of our club to someone else instead of abdicating any form of responsibility for the mess he's left the club in.

When can we review/rationalise the current set of reaction emojis please?
In my humble opinion the like and clapping emojis are too close to each other in meaning, the angry emoji hardly gets used (not complaining about this btw just observing) and the laughing emoji gets muddled up between finding something genuinely funny and being used to deride the opinion - perhaps an eyes rolling emoji additionally as I've suggested before.
I find myself using a lot of GIFs now to replace emojis sentiments that aren't existing or appropriate to use, not sure if this is meant to be the way forward.
Would be interested in other people's opinions too.

Well the secret's going to be out soon enough so I might as well say here. You remember that mysterious cube the Chinese rover has spotted on the far side of the Moon? Looks like I'm going to have to move. Maybe if I disguise it as some giant boulders before the thing reaches here, they'll never know?
This means the nearest club varies, but it's always somewhere in the tropics as the plane of the Moon's rotation only varies a little above and below the equator.
I shared a season ticket with my older brother from when I was 5, so there wasn't much choice. But it meant I bore witness to the greatest period in the club's history.

I think it's a well written book in its own right but yes agree that there are some very blurred lines over bits that were imagined by the author and those that actually happened - noteably believe Johnny Giles successfully sued the author for misrepresentations.

What do you call a sensible compromise Boro want about £45 million compo and we probably would pay them about half a million for loss of gate receipts for the play off semi final so we are miles away.
And anyway a compromise would indicate an admission of guilt from us.

Fortunately, we are playing in without doubt the most dreck season of football I've seen this league produce .  Every team is beatable and is equally poor and decent on a given day, that includes us if there not on it from the get go.

It's nothing to do with grammar.  It's a name.  You either get the name right, or wrong.
St John's Wood (Think Lord's cricket ground, Abbey Rd studios etc) would have been correct.

Bless you... but "charitable donation" is still more "accurate description" than "euphemism"!
It's not soft to show your caring side.  Nor do you need to explain your reasons.  You can just admit that you made a charitable donation.  It's actually a nice thing to do.  Endearing, even.
Have a like (*See reaction to your previous post... that's what a like looks like!)  ?

I contributed to the "whip round" as thought it was shocking that they would go unpaid. Or charitable donation if that's the euphemism ?

1.71 ppg is effectively a 55% win ratio from now until the end of the season which would beat the win record of any Derby manager in recent years, Clough, McClaren, Mackay you name them.

    Boo!
I did speak with Peter Morgan who had the job of trying to adapt the book for the film and said how difficult it was because in the book apparently (I've not read it as it was so despised by the Clough family) Brian is permanently drunk. Peter said he had to try to remove all of that. And that he hoped the family would be far happier with his version, but I've not heard if they commented on it.
Personally I'm not at all a fan of this weird genre called faction, where people like Peace make stuff up and then people read it and think it was true.
