The issue that they're putting across is that they can't start to negotiate as they don't know how much of a fighting fund the club have left to allocate as the administrators still haven't agreed how much they are to offer HMRC, Dell etc.

The monies to other creditors are of no consquence to the validitiy of their claims or the amount it would be reasonabe to settle them for.

The good news is that due to the amount of pressure that's been focused recently on our plight Boro and Wycombe have both come out with preemptive strikes as PR exercises to try and justify their stances.

This seems to have turned into a massive misjudgement by Radio Derby.
All that seems to have been achieved is giving the Wycombe chairman airtime to progress his own agenda and Dawes has allowed him to do it too.

I remember a few weeks ago I got right royally slagged for having the temerity to intimate that the lack of updates from the administrators was truly shocking.

If I could be arsed I would rip holes in the flawed, juvenile logic of that statement 

I don't think the administrators are totally blameless in all of this neither are the EFL, the truth more often than not lies somewhere in between.

This reply disappoints me on a number of levels. Its like he's been hypnotised and regurgitated unquestioningly what the EFL have fed him. 
The idea wasn't to report back what we already know it was to start to challenge the EFLs stance to gain some positive traction for the club.
Clearly he's on a totally different page to the rest of us.

Why don't we give Peter Shilton all of the proceeds for him to invest as he saw fit, what possibly could go wrong with that

Pete point I was trying to make was that the EFL can fire pelters at the admin team and some of those will stick and vice versa but this doesn't do anyone any good.
The quote from the Sports Minister today about all parties finding a pragmatic solution is the most sensible outcome to try and resolve this. 

Why would Clubs pay money for players in January knowing that they can get them for free a few months later as they will be out of contract
