That's the most interesting headline and opening post you've managed for a while @Curtains ?
And I'd love to know how and why you edited a full stop?

Thanks for the stats, you may be right and I may be wrong.
But these kind of figures carry no weight with me given the unpredictable and fluctuating nature of football and the amount of variables involved in any one situation, let alone across one entire game. Fine as a broad trend indicator perhaps, but not much else. Doubt anyone would have xG'd Blackpool for 6 last week. I prefer to use my own eyes, and I've seen every single game this season; happy to make my judgement on that.

Allsop's done very well - to say he isn't a good shot stopper is rubbish, he's made several excellent saves that have kept us in games since the turn of the year. He's not perfect, which is why he's playing in a team that even without a points deduction is towards the bottom of the Championship. Yes he can worry you with the ridiculous goal kick routine, but that's Rooney's problem for forcing them to do it all the time.
For me, he's been a real success story this season and has claimed the shirt completely. Hope he stays.

Most amusing part of it all was getting back to the car after the game to hear Ed Dawes sound like a hysterical baby whose dummy's been taken away.
Wan't bothered by the changes, you've got to give these guys a go, and the result was immaterial anyway. The whole game was a classic "we've just been relegated" affair. Everything was flat. As was demonstrated by chucking a shoe around for the last 20.

I know beggars can't be choosers but there are certain players I wouldn't want anywhere near my club; after how he behaved in the two games against QPR this season he is very high on that list. Even on TalkSport he comes across as a knob.

All the very best for the coming season and beyond.I hope Rooney sticks by you with a decent owner on board he has a good a chance as anybody to get you back up.Your fans have been superb through this crap period.Things can change very quick in football and sometimes for the better, look at us in the so called best league in the world the Premier league for another season.Although my opinion of  the PL ( I’ve missed 2 games this season )is it’s the fatal attraction of clubs who risk everything to get to the tv cash when for us fans it’s a bland predictable bore fest unless you are a top 4 club the rest just make up the numbers.I won’t shed a tear when we eventually get back to the championship a far better and more competitive league to play in.Hope to be playing you at Pride Park again soon.

Good move for him to finish his career. Has done his bit for us but in a highly physical L1 we're going to need someone who isn't constantly getting injured.
