Sky and its money has done an awful lot of good for football. It's allowed clubs to invest in their facilities, making stadiums much safer and the whole matchday experience better for the vast majority.
It's opened up access to games that supporters simply would not be able to see otherwise.
It's made Sundays far less boring.
It's pumped a lot of money into helping combat racism and tackle inequality in the game.
Yes they muck around with fixture lists and that can be annoying.
And as all the stats show, people who want to go to football still go to football.
But for me the benefits far outweigh the negatives.
If you want accuse any organisation of ruining football, take a look at the Premier League.

Further to @Foreveram's post above, attendances are way higher now than they were before Sky. There's loads I don't like about Sky but you can't argue with facts.
Take the below for example. Division 1 average attendance in 1991/92, the year before the premier league (and sky) came and ruined attendance, compared to this past season in the Premier League

Why couldn't people just stay in the stands so everyone could see and enjoy the presentation and a lap of honour by the players and management instead of that embarrassing moment in the directors box when nobody knew what to do. Then some people went back, some stayed, so some others went back on. It was chaos just because people can't behave and do as they are asked.
There, I seem even more boring and joyless than you.

Why couldn't people simply wait until the game was over? We effectively forced the ref to end the game 2 minutes early and were lucky we got away with that and it was declared full time.
Yes I know that might seem a joyless, boring attitude, but I'd rather not have more points deductions or see players get hurt.

    Clement was sacked too early.
    McLaren was sacked too early.
    Cocu was sacked too late.
I like Gary Rowett and his style of football was ok.
xG is a pile of w***.
The South Stand is good but not as good as everyone makes out.
    I like @RoyMac5's input.
Some people on here engage their fingers way earlier than they do their brains.
It's not against the law to change your mind on things like the manager/players etc.
The European Super League needs to happen, and now, if football in this country is to be competitive.
Parachute payments need to be scrapped, and now, if the Championship is to remain competitive.

This is a great point, and perhaps why Saturday didn't feel nearly as exciting as the Championship play off games we've had in recent year, Leeds away especially. I expected us to get promoted so while I'm happy that we did and enjoyed the occasion on Saturday,  the whole thing feels to me like we are righting a wrong more than achieving anything extraordinary.

League One is a melting pot of smaller clubs who are relatively well run and then bigger clubs who are down there for a reason. It's an enjoyable league for the match-going fan and with 49 wins in two seasons there has been plenty of happy Saturdays, albeit those wins (a lot of the time) feel more like 'job done' than enjoyable and anything other than a win feels like we're playing well below ourselves.
In two seasons we've probably been the underdog by the bookies in less than 10 of our 92 games which underpins the level of expectation. Expectation ultimately drains the joy out of football.
in hindsight, it's been an enjoyable experience (of sorts) but I'm in no rush to experience it again.

    Bang on the money.
As you say the away ends looked jolly good fun, but as i'm not an away follower i only ever found being in League 1 as some inconvenience i could do without.
Sadly as much as i enjoyed Saturday i do feel that my contempt for the league stopped me from going OTT with emotion. Just glad to be back were we at the very least belong. Hopefully in 5 seasons time we can look at seriously pushing for promotion to the PL which i'm sure i would definitely go mad for.

Glad to see the back of it and hope to never return.
I can understand those regular away fans that were able to buy tickets and experience new grounds, was an adventure for you all.
Not wanting to sound arrogant, a club of this size should not have been playing at these grounds outside of cup competitions and pre season. There is a reason why Derby last season was a big day out for most of the league.
I'm glad we won't have to play Burton and Mansfield next season, I'm glad we won't have to feature on Welcome to Wrexham and we're back to one promotion away from being back in the top flight.
The Premier League has it's faults, VAR is terrible, we're never going to win the thing and it's all about the big 6, yet Brighton, Brentford, these are clubs we should replicating in some form and on the cusp of breaking into the European spots.
If League 1 was an adventure, imagine taking a couple of days off work midweek to fly out to Prague on the lash and watching Derby.
I bet Leicester City fans never thought for a second they would achieve what they did.
I'm fully aware we are still miles away from that, our immediate focus has to be Championship survival, then stability before we can think about progressing to the next step of chasing promotion.
But we're closer now than we would have been had we lost on Saturday and Bolton won.

It was nice being a big fish in a small pond for a bit, but lets be honest League One is absolutely honking and the idea that Derby should have been happy to take it slow and rebuild down there was nonsense. I am delighted that we got out relatively quickly given the circumstances that saw us down there, let's never go back again.
