I too watched the whole debate.
I never thought I'd see the day when MPs from Nottingham and Leeds, as well as those from Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Pontypridd, and Rochdale amongst others, all supported our fight with the EFL.
And as for the MP for Bury - wow! That short speech alone totally embarrassed and shamed the EFL. I hope they were watching. Good on you sir!

Hopefully by 12th February Derby will have new owners, and Gibson will have withdrawn his claim.
Sky also seem to be revising their live TV games almost at will at the moment due to games being postponed because of the pandemic.
So if we are in a much better place come February, then Surely the best option would be to fill the away end, give Gibson all the sh#t we can during the game, and try and cheer the team onto a further 3 points in our bid for the Great Escape.
If however the situation is still dire, and it looks like we are going down regardless, then boycotting the match, possibly even staging a noisy protest outside the Riverside during the game, would certainly get us some headlines, even more so if Sky pulled it for live TV.
Perhaps it's a case of seeing what the next couple of weeks hold before purchasing a match ticket?

How can the EFL suggest there is any possible compromise? Wouldn't any such compromise theoretically set some kind of precedent, and require us to admit that we knew we were acting outwith the rules AT THE TIME, when it has been pointed out by others many times that the EFL had already signed off our accounts. It was later that they changed their minds.
So surely the EFL should be putting pressure on them both to drop the claims completely.
Sorry, how daft of me, the EFL need a backbone to do that.

If Coventry win their games in hand they'll be right in the play off mix.
They might therefore also be thinking that the FA Cup is an unnecessary distraction and rest key players as well.
If that is the case, then I think a strong showing from a much changed Derby team could scrape us through to the next round.
Knowing our luck, we'd probably then get a top 6 Premier League side or a non-league team in the fourth round and get selected for TV. Suddenly the extra income from a decent gate, and/or from TV money, might just come in handy.

That photo is brilliant. Sums up where we are at the moment. Actually looks like it's from a bygone era, yet it is very recent.
Cloughie and Taylor (looking down in the background) would be proud of the current team.
If, and it's still a huge IF, we do the impossible and stay up, then whatever book / film / Netflix series they do about us, this photo should be on the cover.

    Some amazing memories Loweman2.
That iconic picture of Bobby D wheeling away after scoring pretty much sums up my BBG memories. Perhaps my favourite BBG match, for so many reasons, was beating Palace to clinch promotion. Robbie Van der Laan you legend!
I'm just interested. One of your comments suggested you were, like me, just too young to remember the glory years of the league titles (apologies if I'm mistaken), so what is your favourite BBG memory, and what's your favourite bit of memorabilia?

    Nice one.
    Special days, like you say.
We never saw the League winning teams, but we had those Arthur Cox years.
I think that's why everyone loved the BBG. Different generations had different memories, each special to them.
I have grown fond of Pride Park over the years, but only as much as its where we now call home.
The South Stand can be amazing at times, but my spiritual home will always be the Popside, watching Booby D banging them in.
