Anna reacted to Ellafella in International Women's Day
I started going to the BBG in the mid-1970's. It may be a memory thing but I was always struck as a very young man how it was mostly {white} males. Today in 2022 it is so much better that football supporting has a much more balanced demographic; there are still improvements to be made I'm sure, but I love the fact that there are so many more females {as well as non-binary}.

Anna reacted to angieram in International Women's Day
To mark the Day, Derby County has released an awareness video against violence on women.
I have posted it here as it will get more views than if I put it in the Jim Smith Room.
As it is International Women's Day I would like to add something positive and give a big shout out to all my female Derby County mates - whether virtual or matchday mates. Really appreciate you all.

Just time out to thank the Mods at this time. Cant imagine how difficult it must be to keep on top of the volume of posts also at a time when feelings are running high. Think we'd all be lost without this forum so thank you

Anna reacted to Carl Sagan in Petition to the Sports Minister
Someone called Adam Boddington (very possibly on here) has created a petition asking for the Sports Minister to look at the situation between Derby, Middlesbrough and Wycombe. The EFL is mentioned in the petition title:

Well done Adam for starting something off.

Both fiancé and I have a crush on Dyche. Have you seen his sassy press conferences!?
Lancashire is my favourite cheese, so no complaints from me moving up here.

I sincerely hope it's a very Happy New Year - well, for everyone on the planet.
It's been an awful couple of years through the pandemic. The threat of war between Russia and Ukraine is scary. As though all of that isn't bad enough, climate change will have the biggest ever impact on humanity.
That all said, what keeps us all going is our shared love of football and, in particular, of Derby County. Football, sport, entertainment gives us a release from the stresses of our everyday lives. And yet, currently, supporting the Rams only seems to add to the stress.
Let's hope we get a new owner soon, put administration and points deductions behind us, and start building an entertaining and successful football club once again.
Finally, I just want to thank the Forum Admins for providing this platform. Thank you to all posters for your contributions - whether you are optimistic or pessimistic about the future - or no matter how you feel about Tom Lawrence - I have enjoyed reading your posts. Thank you for keeping the club close to me.
Very best wishes to you, your families and your friends.
