Heaven forbid, had the unthinkable actually happened, there's no way I'd be showing any interest in football now.
I truly couldn't tell you who played in the last game I watched (full, or even highlights) that didn't involve The Rams.  I'd imagine it was the last England WC (proper) game?
WC & Euro qualifiers... Champions League... Match of the day... Live Prem and/or EFL games... Local parks...small time amateurs... none of it interests me, and hasn't for some time.
I doubt I'd recognise any more than a dozen players names from the Prem, and I'd be amazed if I could match more than a handful of prem players to their current club.
Even my participation on here is based on 40% Love of DCFC, and 60% "banter with the gang"!
I don't even put this apathy down to "strong morals"... I'm just bored with the wider game, full stop.  Disillusioned, I guess! 
Diving, money, VAR, Rich v Poor, too many games played, too many live games on the various TV options, the over-analysis of it all.

On the night, I'm going to feel more guilty about making my missus upset about me watching boxing all nihght on the last Sat before Christmas than I am about Yemen, murdered critics and downtrodden minorities, tbh.

Every proper team has a proper captain. Ron Hindmarch. Robbie van der Laan.
And a lot of legs in midfield. George Williams. Darryl Powell.
We've got neither.
I was hoping Fornah might provide the running power, but it doesn't seem to be happening. I don't see a candidate for captain either. Nelson maybe? One of the few to show the necessary aggression last night.
Important window coming up, because this squad is lacking in key areas.

I've persuaded the Mrs that we should while away the long winter evenings with some old classics.
Kicked off that plan tonight with Casablanca. Bogart on impeccable form, superbly supported at every turn. So many memorable lines. Beautifully shot. Booze and cigarettes ubiquitous throughout.

A good captain on the field is hugely important. This is not hindsight as I said it at the time; it was weak of Warne not to pick his leader on the field. My guess is that he invested heavily in Bradley as his leader, but soon realised he wasn’t the playing force he thought he was (duff purchase). He clearly didn’t fancy Bird or thought he was going, but didn’t in my opinion want to demote him. So he abdicated responsibility and accountability to the players. I can see why the players picked Hourihane, as there were limited options. However, I am not convinced Hourihane is sold on Warne’s way of playing, so that is far from ideal too. Dog’s breakfast really, which is very disappointing. 

Crewe were the better team tonight

He'd built a tiny bit of credit from Barnsley, and he's pissed it all up the wall. 3 hours of the same pattern of football, no clue how to get through them and no idea how to change it.

They were on the pitch playing to a crap coaches instruction/tactics. We have played Crewe only 10 days ago and got lucky to get a replay and this coach did not learn from the 1st game. Can we swop the managers over, because Lee Bell outwitted Warne twice with inferior players.
