    My understanding is, he cancelled his contract under TUPE (so we don't have to pay him anymore), but we still hold his registration for a season (so someone has to pay us to sign him)

    I imagine the EFL were quite pleased with themselves when they agreed this. I highly suspect that the squad they envisaged we’d put together is nothing like the one we actually have. Haha unlucky bell-ends.
    Also, if we can’t pay fees then I’d put the blockers on letting anyone go as well. May as well keep our assets if we can’t reinvest any incoming fees.

    Inspirational in 20/21, had a frustrating season last year, but overall an excellent signing. May not have scored many goals, but some of them were belters and match-winners or point savers too.

    Interesting rumours I just heard - apparently Kemar will only come here if we agree to provide accomodation for his grandmother. It sounds legit - my source called it the Kemar Nan clause.

    We are surrounded by forest fires and yesterday we were told to evacuate our home on Alhaurine Golf,back home now having been told it was safe to do so,but yesterday it was big,big,big,3300 people have been evacuated from Alhaurine el Grande and El Torre,estimate forrest destroyed at 5000 hectares.Helicopters are taking water from the lakes on our golf course,every 6 minuites one drops its bucket,and yesterday we went to my partners rented villa overlooking the mediteranean,where we could see those big yellow fire planes scooping sea water.I think they are using fire retardant chemical now.
    So all in all a day of fear,but nice to be home with my computer on seeing that we won our second friendly.
