We have just played Lincoln, a Reading in dissaray and a very poor Cheltenham side...and made a right pigs ear of it.
We should be top of the table after those 3 games.

Entitled? We are in the 3rd tier of English football and we can’t string 2 passes together. If we were outplaying teams and getting mugged on the break I don’t think anyone would be complaining and for the record I don’t want Warne sacked but I do want him to wake up to the fact our midfield balance has been wrong all season.

All I'll say is I admire your level of faith in things going to plan.

You honestly think Leeds Utd and Leicester City are looking to sign Bird ?  Most of their midfield players are worth around £6/7 mill. If you are right , we are in for a good pay day .

Max Bird is the real Marmite Player - 50% don’t rate him and 50% drool over every backward pass . Only he can win the doubters over .

On Tuesday, the positioning of Hourihane and Bird was the issue. They're occupying the same space. 

I think people focus far too much on emotive and physical attributes as to why we don’t control the midfield. 
I don’t think it’s anything to do with the physical aspect of the players, more so their ability to stay within the game from a mental aspect.
Jeff Hendrick was/is a great example of a player who had physically and technical ability to dominate a game in midfield but lacked the ability to read the game so much that for 80% of every single game he played that you knew it was going to pass him by, unfortunately I think Bird whilst weaker and perhaps better technically, is similar that games bypass him purely because he doesn’t have the ability to read the game very well and be where he needs to be. 
Add that to a manager who plays a style, where he puts no emphasis on control and only catching the opposition out of position with a fast, direct approach. 
Bird and Hourihane play the game picking up pockets of space between the lines but are as useful as a chocolate teapot when we lose the ball and the other team has the opportunity to counter. Hourihane has technical quality and an edge that means he’s more useful to us than Bird, who I think really needs to be sacrificed for the greater good. By that I mean sold and replaced with a more suitable player this team. We really could do with a player who just knows how to stay in games, especially in centre mid, one that can be a presence. Thompson is a good example, but we need that but with much greater ability IMO.

I get people like him for being nice but it does my head in hes too nice its like hes being fake sometimes you have to have abit aggression to be a football manager and he doesnt its why refs are crap all the time, you get someone like warnock and it changes

Wasted at right back, beats a man too easy with limited with his crosses as many times they go to waste, why not try him cam (Georgi Kinkladze) and have nml and cbt on the wings and defenders wouldnt know where to defend! Wilson beats a man too easy but is wasted on the wings! Could make silly money off of him if he played in a kinky roll

It’s always been a weird one. Everyone I speak to in person agrees he’s s****. But on here it’s ridiculous the amount of 💩 performance is met with a Liverpool style it’s someone else’s fault! 
All his relatives and mates must be on here under cover it’s the only thing that makes sense! 
 
 
 
 

If we’re going to be keeping the academy at a cat 1 status, what is the reasoning so few academy players are making debuts and playing so few league or cup minutes. Some of the lads looks ready to at least contribute 5-10 minutes here and there (Weston, D Robinson, D Brown)

Bird is doing his job - scrap around for the ball in a midfield two next to a really slow guy, try and bang it out wide as quickly as possible, it's fine if you lose the ball a lot. That's what Warne is telling him to do.
