We really need to get real ,,,, stop the club being liquidated is all that matters ,, anything else beyond that is a bonus

I don’t know enough about them to comment, probably along with most Derby fans.
All I’m saying is people should wait for the facts before saying they hope his business fails.
I’m certain he would have bought us if he could.

It’s common knowledge that there’s a hell of a lot of people taking a high chunk of money/ salaries from charities leaving the percentage of donations given to the actual causes rather small ,, there are also plenty who give they’re time and effort for no financial reward but not having been in school for 45 years I will leave you to sort the wheat from the chaff

No, he took out a loan to pay them. A loan he no doubt won’t pay back

I could never have seen this happening, he worked so hard to get it over the line with board meetings at Revolution and the golf course. Oh sorry, I did . Chancer doesn't do it justice.

Sorry jimbo but your totaly failing to make your point ,, Morris owned derby lock stock and barrel, he held total power to run it ( run it down ) however he decided and nobody had the power to stop him , he even did away with having any kind of a proper functioning board , derby county football club are every bit the victim to this man as the creditors ,, it’s a point the EFL could well do with recognising too along with other clubs and other clubs fans

Simple but glaringly true , what has it to do with the fans who hand over they’re money hand over fist in good faith and we’re lied to over the running and state of the club?
what has it to do with the staff and players busting a gut for the club?
the club were used , shafted and spat out , left to wither and die with the same disregard as the creditors,
this will happen time and time again as it has in the past until regulations and culpability rules are changed ,
nothing wierd in the truth

The customer is the most powerful weapon if you have something to sell, If a restaurant gets bad press customers will not go, If a shop sells the same goods at a higher price than it's competitors there's a good chance they'll just mooch along in business, If a 2nd hand car dealer has been convicted of clocking cars they'll go out of business as customers will not buy from them.
Football trades on loyalty we have no where else to go, 10-20-30-40-50-60 years of loyalty that doesn't come cheap, We're there in all weathers, We're treated as an inconvenience at times, When going to away games we contribute to the local economy, The local economy is worth £100m according to Chris Poulton DCC leader where home support and business continue to contribute.
And yet here we are concerned our club will go out of business(it wont)as we can't wait to be taken for granted every week.
Ladies and Gentlemen I give you the every day football supporter.

It’s disgusting that people can be treated this way ( I have a small business) but the fault is in a system where a man with the worth of around 500 mill ( even if it’s dropped considerably now ) can run up these debts and walk away , I don’t think it says too much about Ashley that he wants to be saddled with as little as possible of another man’s debts when buying the club and saving it from going under , even if it’s for the motive of building it up to make a long term profit , do you really believe ck or any of the other bidders are not trying to pay creditors as little as they feel they can get away with ?
not one of those bidders is buying the club for the motive that they feel the creditors have been wronged and they want to step in and do the right thing for them, certainly ck is doing the absolute least he can without incurring a points deduction which impacts on his business plan,
the creditors and derby county have been shafted by Morris we should not and can not judge people like Ashley and the others on them not wanting to pay for Morris mess ,anyone buying derby is buying another man’s debts and a business with next to no worth and assets apart from a decent fanbase which gives potential for future if run properly

Mike Ashley getting bad press by some Derby fans for precisely what?
If he doesn't pay enough to avoid point deductions, maybe its because the club wasn't worth that amount thanks to the state Mel Morris left it in?

You are totally on point. Really feel for the unsecured creditors - totally shafted by "one of our own" and all bidders clearing up mess he just walked away from. Does MM still have some type of ambassador role or whatever it was with Council? Hopefully stripped away when dust settles.
