Nope , football used to be 90 mins of pure escape from daily life , turn up and shout your head off and be immersed in the game no matter what was going on in life ??‍♂️, the game has been hijacked first by the money makers now the virtue signallers at worst or those who want to use it as a platform for politics at best ,
look at the chelsea manager having to plead to stop being put on the spot re abramavich , klopp spouting constantly, if you want to constantly spout your politics s Klopp ( non jabbed are the same as drink drivers just one of his gems )then give the football up and stand for election ,
chelsea ? Why punish the fans ? Any income can be frozen and allow fans to buy tickets to watch their team , it not five minutes ago the owner was donating the Stamford bridge hotel for free to help the covid effort ??‍♂️

I can’t be bothered to go today. Or anymore for that matter. Football is lost to me. 
We anxiously wait for some rich person to bail us out. These person/persons have a plan involving making money. But no interest in Derby. At least Mel had a dream. He followed it and so did we. We could have made it. But didn’t.
But make what exactly? Joining a league of Rich men’s playthings. 
 
Billionaires are queuing up to buy Chelsea. Sky are more interested in a subscription from someone in South Korea than a season ticket holder in Southampton.
It not our game anymore, where just there for the sound effects.

Can't believe how taken in by him I was. It literally took us entering administration before I started to smell the coffee. Even then I thought that perhaps it was out of desperation at the situation with the EFL and there was some method to the madness. Gilt and varnish hides a multitude of sins they say and sadly, that's never been truer than with Morris. If I met him now I'd be seriously hard pushed not to throat punch the Bamford. It's a strange feeling to find someone I once genuinely respected so utterly repugnant a mere handful of months later.

Looking at this logically, it seems likely this is now the stumbling block; the bidders are looking to have their cake and eat it as they know Morris has no leverage and are therefore assuming they can take the stadium for peanuts. The Binnie offer included a derisory £2M for the stadium which would probably equate to a 12 / 24 month lease.
I've no sympathy for Morris in this regard but the net result is that while Cashley and Morris enjoy their extended pissing match, we're losing prize assets like Ebosele seemingly every week. Quantuma have not covered themselves in glory but folk need to understand that the latest stumbling block is the greed of the bidders and the ex-owner's inability to honour his promises - 'I'll sell the club for £1.00'. Yeah, course you will Mel ?

It's been clear for a very long time these potential new owners (if they indeed exist) have zero interest or passion for Derby County football club..they are out to get a sale through for a bare minimum price.
It appears they do not care one jot whether all of our playing assets walk away for nothing, nor if we end up on -15 next season.
Doesn't fill me with any enthusiasm that they will be decent guardians of our club.
Mel Morris has everything to answer for. He has gone down in our history as the worst owner we have ever had by a country mile. An absolute odious human being at every level, enjoy your hundreds of millions you are a disgrace.

Yeah me too.  The only way out of this is by negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
Now that Putin realizes that the war is much more difficult than he expected I'm hoping he has scaled down his objectives, and is instead looking for an ego-saving exit that he can spin as a victory at home.  I shudder to think what a desperate Putin might do if he feels like he is backed into a corner with no escape route. He has already shown how little he cares for the lives of Ukrainian civilians or Russian soldiers.
