I suspect most fans, although obviously not all, are mature and just want the club saved but some would prefer not MA for various reasons. Why do some people have to make everything divisive?

How on earth can it be your fault B4?
You are a great supporter and you have really helped a lot of us through this difficult time with your positive attitude.
Whoever the new owner is will be glad to have such great fans as you behind the team.
It will get sorted soon. COYR ?

Sounds ridiculous at this stage. We really don't need 6-8 interested parties. We need one credible bidder, who has the right amount of money to secure a deal and is willing to get involved; with the objective of stabilising the club for a few seasons, then rebuilding the on field side of things and most importantly restoring the credibility of the football club.

Let’s be right here. Whoever does this deal it’s a stinking deal. Mel has made us practically unsellable. Personal view can’t see any bid that’s not going to trigger further points deductions but could be wrong on that. Earlier on in the process I accepted League 1 and -15 as likely outcome based on what the likes of Krasner were saying. CK gave me hope that could be avoided until he injured himself kicking tyres.
That being said from what I’ve been told (which isn’t much) is that the process is now moving very quickly, the focus is very much on the end game and parties are showing their hand, ie. no more posturing which means we should hopefully be through this saga soon. Might also explain why people are coming in and dropping out. I think we know who the main players are and they haven’t really changed.

Things are clearly moving now. Not been told much only it’s very much focussed now on a conclusion with all parties starting to show their hand, and think that’s now being evidenced by some of the reports coming out.

Hopefully we’re finally near the end of this.

    Nah, don't be superstitious.
Lots of us thought Kirchner would be the new owner, not just you. No such thing as jinxing it.
Like everyone, you and me just want this settled as soon as possible.
(And @Mostyn6 is only joking even if it's difficult to tell sometimes)

Love that there are people looking for the validity of Simon Stone after about 10 days of lapping up any old muck from Alan Nixon.

What's really bugging me, an i know it's going over old ground, but when the Boro and Wycombe 'claims' were cited as a major stumbling block in the attempts to sell the club, the EFL refused to get involved to try and mediate a way through.  Now that the new season approaches they are all over it like a rash, claiming they are determined to help us survive, well where were you two faced gits when we needed you before?

Bullying takes a big mental toll on people. I haven't been at school for 15 years and i still get woken up with nightmares of the bullying i had to endure.
It is not easy to forget these things as much as i and @B4ev6is would like to. The absolute worst time of my life was my school days and it has left deep mental scars.

Well guy chris kircher is now gone and maybe we just dodge a bullet but I wont lie I throught maybe kircher had the funds I got to carried away but now we have at least 6 to 8 new bidder. Steve morgan in talks with admin and maybe s deal can be done quickly. If admin and efl say to him can you clear these debts hear and now and if and when new owner is chosen say yes he is my card and money and card machine say money done and then given the keys and golden ticket and the rooney in and then get rest of the players in with new contract and new players in and then new number 2 assistant manager through the door.

but....the EFL resented very deeply the Mel Morris criticism (interference?) over low media revenues, and his aim to multiply the paltry EFL TV deal from putative competitors to Sky, upon renewal - it made him a target.
Other clubs chickened out of the breakaway as MM suggested, instead of still picking up crumbs from Sky TV's dog-dish, so  MM became a marked man - and the (new) EFL TV deal remained paltry.
Not making MM out to be a hero, of course he became a destructive ogre - but those same EFL issues remain: low revenues, and the  'parachute' imbalance - which impels owners to go for broke on FFP and P&S.
