Unless something has changed we shouldn't have any more points deductions for next season. It was reported (and I think confirmed or at least hinted at by Kirchner) that the purchase price was enough to meet the minimum requirements of the EFL for repaying back some of the debts. I think it's 25% repaid immediately once the takeover is completed or 35% repaid back over a maximum of 3 years to avoid any points deductions and CK is doing the latter.
As for the EFL spending limits, we should probably have a look at Wigan who's situation shared some similarities to ours. Towards the end of last season they came out of administration and paid back 25% of the debts owed to avoid any points deductions. They then signed some solid League 1 players on frees (Power, Wyke, Cousins etc.) and despite presumably being under restrictions determined by the EFL, they were still able to pay transfer fees for players (Shinnie 30k, McGrath 150k, Kerr 600k, Humphrys undisclosed, Tilt undisclosed 6 figure fee, Jones undisclosed fee, McClean undisclosed fee and Magennis undisclosed fee). So you're looking at somewhere between 1 and 2 million spent despite just coming out of administration. They sold just 1 player for a fee (Joseph 500k) and you'd assume we'd bring in at least that amount, but hopefully much more, from the likely exit of Bielik and any others who are sold.
So, it all comes down to whether that wonderful, trustworthy organisation known as the EFL treat Derby County the same as Wigan Athletic. Nothing to worry about then, right? ?

Pretty sure we all know he'll say nothing.  It's just yet another example of the poo stirring done by people wanting clicks and appearance money, including shows like Radio Derby.  Nothing's changed,  It was independently valued.  If MM chooses to sell for less, that's his prerogative.  Maguire, IMO is a professional poo stirrer. I bet when he was a kid he'd be the one, hand in the air "Miss! Miss! Johnny just copied Stevie's answers, I saw him.  He's been doing it for months...you should look at all his tests for that time....."

The rule concerning not being able to sell season tickets without proof of funds to complete the season is right before the one concerning the bars in the concourses, stating that the EFL are sole stewards of said bars.

That forearm smash in Taylors face by Ewan Roberts was never a foul, he made a meal of it.
Whatever happened to Murdo Mackay, best wheeler dealer we ever had.
Malmo, Hamburg, Luton and Oldham.  Can't say Forest didn't win things the hard way.  No wonder they're world famous

It's the off season, so what are some things you'd never hear a Derby fan say.
I'll kick off with a few:
I have a real soft spot for Kenny Burns.
Bobby Campbell was a much underrated striker.
I always knew that Claude Davis was the final piece of the jigsaw prior to the 2007 season
Robert Maxwell loved the club and the city with all of his heart.
Leeds were too big to come down, I'm happy for them.
It was great to see Cloughie take over down the road.
We never really deserved to beat QPR, it  was a fair result.
I really admire the sportsmanship of Brice Samba.
I felt terrible for the home fans when Marriott's second goal went in during the playoffs.
I quite liked the BBG, but it never really had much atmosphere.
I thought the ref in the Juventus game was outstanding.
And finally, for @B4ev6is - I LOVE those pink shirts.

Whatever happens in the future, we have spent many months staring into the abyss with very few parties willing to save us. So called ‘fans’ have chucked us aside and let us rot, where without intervention we would have died.
So whatever does happen, whether the next chapter of Derby County is successful or not, I will never forget the act of saving this Club that I love with all my heart. Hundreds of thousands of people love this Club as much as me, if not more, unfortunately none of us had the money to save us. A couple of sharks have circled trying to get their hands on a carcass, but we’ve only really had one realistic prospect of having a custodian with pride and admiration for what he is buying. And with the exchanging of contracts I hope for all our sakes that the storm clouds of the last however many months it is, are finally parting. We have finally (and hopefully) got our Club back.

Despite some of my earlier caution-infused posts I'd be the happiest man ever to eat humble pie. I care not a not if I got it wrong, I'm big enough and man enough to say so. If we can field a functioning,  competitive team in D1 next season, with St. Wayne at the helm I'll take all opprobrium poured on me in a hat-shaped mould and eat it.
Pleease see this deal over the line...???

More nervous now than at any other time throughout this whole ordeal! ?
Like someone's about to take a 95th minute penalty that would see us saved from relegation.
Feel very similar right now to how I felt watching us play Sheff Weds at the end of last season, the whistle's about to blow but there's one last opportunity for the opposition to launch it into the box.
Please for the love of all things holy or otherwise, can we not snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!?

Me too. I used to be a Willie Carlin/Archie Gemmill midfielder, but not any more. I’m 65, 5’ 6”, and would be better in goal nowadays as I have a belly and I’m not afraid to use it.

Finding the available space, the time to build it and, (most importantly), the money would prove to be significant obstacles. Everybody jokes about playing on public parks in the meantime but there are certain requirements that a football league ground has to adhere to (surely?)

One thing for sure, is that left back for Hull will be glad to see the back of him. As Festy had him on toast.
Having pace and power is enough to create havoc in the second division, and on his day he was unplayable.
He’s the sort of player that gets people off their seats, and I’ll miss that excitement when he was one on one with space behind…

Lawrence's second goal against sheff utd was "vintage" festy. Thats what he is all about. Knocking it through gaps and using his pace and power to get on the end. Anyone who says they were not excited to see him burst past their 2 players is lying.
