I think you can probably say there are several EFL regs that Couhig and Gibson have broken. I'm fairly sure you are not allowed to cheat your way to the next round of the FA Cup either.

I hope you are in the minority. He has no credibility at all, his tweets sound like a 17 year old, full of bravado and swear words. Anyone who has any business sense should keep his trap shut on social media and not respond to the fans.

If Gibson thinks the decision regarding the stadium sale was wrong then his complaint must be against the EFL. Not Derby.

Why is that point not being rammed down his throat? With a baseball bat.

3-0 to my son's team here in Nottingham(u9's).  He played right wing and right back. We had most of the possession but it stayed 1-0 until the last 5 mins. Good football from both teams. My son had one shot on the half volley that went just wide. Daughter's football tomorrow.

Good day to remind us why we love this game and its not because of all the ?we are living with. So for your own wellbeing - go and find a game and report back. I am off to watch my son's school team in beautiful Cambridge sunshine. He is playing off the striker apparently and trying to be our Tom. Go and enjoy - get some air. Match reports much appreciated - lets remind ourselves of what it is all about

One more post then I really am signing off for the weekend, putting it here as this is an "open letter", otherwise the missus will kill me.
What I would personally like is that:
    - Boro drop their claim and Wycombe announce they will not be making a claim against the club.
    Failing that.
    - EFL rule that according to regulation 4.4, Boro's claim has been dismissed and Wycombe told they are unable to make a claim.
    Failing that.
    - EFL rule that neither have football debts and cannot be considered as football creditors.
    Failing that.
    - EFL accept Mel's offer to fight the claim and any further claim from Wycombe in the High Court, with the EFL referring back to reg 4.4.
    Failing that.
    - Quantuma go for a High Court ruling on football creditor status.
That is 4 options which ultimately save the football club, plus a final option for Quantuma.
Decline Boro's offer of mediation, mediation would be nothing more than settling with Gibson and Couhig who is yet to even file a claim for X, the administrators won't go against legal advice, they won't take extortion money out the creditors pot.
It's unlikely Mel would agree to pay anything without it being settled on a neutral battleground, the High Court.
Boro's offer of arbitration is also declined, we cannot wait until May, they know this which is why what they are doing is nothing more than extortion.
Quantuma have no reason to go into arbitration when they have the faster option of a High Court ruling.
The only way arbitration becomes a possibility is if Mel agrees to indemnify, see earlier post why I don't believe this should be considered until the very last hour before the lights are turned off.
    Enjoy your weekends!

Team Derby, if you do read this open letter on the forum and think, you know what, he's right we need to focus on getting Mel Morris to indemnify claims.
Just read this section of his statement last night:

As you will have just read "Any wonder why I am sceptical of the EFL arbitral procedures"
So before you focus on this, think about what you are asking, you are asking a man that is sceptical of the EFL arbitral procedures to sign a piece of paper and say look, whatever is decided in the arbitration, which cannot take place until May as we wait for Boro's counsel, and I won't be involved in, I will cover any compensation awarded.
Maybe he would, maybe he will say well if it's either this or see the club liquidated and I have a stadium with £20m worth of debt that I have to cover if I don't.
Personally, I would wait now, wait to see what the EFL say as Rick Parry appears to be on board with the possibility of the offer to personally take it on in the High Court, a fair battle ground.
Wait to see what Gibson and Couhig say before even starting to push for Mel to indemnify the claims.

With the accusations towards myself and now this, I have to ask why are you so concerned by the mental health of the EFL and not the club, Derby County, that faces liquidation?
Even the Birmingham game, the fans worked hard, donating tickets to those in need to put money into the club and get behind the lads, we sold out the stadium and your response was something along the lines of....well this will scare the young lads playing in front of a full stadium...WHAT???
We could lose our club and whilst they didn't put us in this situation, they are making it as difficult as possible for us to leave this situation and your idea of a tea party and gifts for the EFL just isn't going to wash.
If the EFL have been rattled by the statement made by Mel last night then great, this is fantastic news, we need to show that we're not going to take this lying down without a fight.
The EFL picked this battle by ignoring not only their own regulations but insolvency laws.
If you want to go and give Rick Parry and Trevor Birch a cuddle and kiss, tell them everything will be alright, go for it, just don't expect a queue of fans behind you looking to pucker up to them.
If Derby get taken over, the battle doesn't stop their either, we need to be at the front of the push for an independent regulator and that's not going to see us on their Christmas card list this year, but who cares?
They don't care about us, we're the ones being affected by all this, so it's time to stop showing so much compassion for an organisation that actively pushing us into extinction.
    /rant.

I don't care how the boys play. It could be that this is finally what is needed to allow the Club to be sold. Mel's statement contained some interesting facts that it was good to get into the open and the timing was spot on. The tweet from Amanda Solloway saying the EFL reneged on letting Q go to Court over whether the claim was a football debt was also good to know.

Mel's statement was designed to flush out intent. Does Gibson want compensation for his perceived loss as he claims or does he want to just destroy dcfc?
I agree they may well say its dcfc they are after and Mel may well have to indemnify dcfc but at least now the pressure has just sky rocketed on the parasites and the EFL.

Seeing as everyone knows there is no chance of getting cash from a club in our state, whilst turning away from a perfectly viable cash source on offer, they will then show themselves up for the poo bags they are.  Proper little issue for them this is.

Your support for Gibson is admirable mate but your struggling to defend him now.
If Gibson is sure of his case he'll destroy MM in court. If he's not sure of his case, or his real motive is to destroy Derby County FC, he'll get shown up as the vindictive little banker he is.

If true, would suggest major collusion between Boro and the EFL, in bringing DCFC to its knees and ensuring relegation.
