I agree with all of that except the last bit. I sincerely hope it WILL spill over when we play them. So long as we direct our ire at the right person, and not the Middlesbrough fans, who I feel must be almost as long-suffering as we are! 

If the new owner is Mike Ashley or someone similar (business experience wise) which I am guessing they are/ will be.
They will see these spurious claims as laughable as the rest of the planet. 

1/ Gibson has no case whatsoever, (can he sue the National Lottery because he didn’t win the jackpot because someone bought an extra ticket more than him) ?.
2/ Wycombe neither have any claim against us as it was The EFL that didn’t apply the 9 points deduction last season and not DCFC. 
Neither of these “debts/charges” have a cat in hells chance of binding onto DCFC & that is why I don’t see this putting off Mike Ashley or anyone else.
In actual fact I wouldn’t be surprised if the new owners don’t put a counter claim against both these charlatans and the EFL for restricting our business practices for the last 2 years. We could even see a challenge to eradicate our 9 point deduction if these morons persist with both their extremely tenuous claims.
So in short Gibson and Wycombe, get back to your miserable little lives and take your pathetic grievances and shove em when the ☀️ don’t shine.

If the EFL don’t sort this pathetic nonsense out then we will know exactly where they stand. I think we need to start our case against Villa and QPR. Also Liverpool for failing to control their fans costing us a place in Europe in 1989. Obviously Charlton will sue for the ball bursting in the 1946 FA cup final so that game might need replaying. Fulham will sue for the game in 1983 which is fair enough. Can someone find Paul Emson and Mick Brolly for the replayed game that needs to take place? Perhaps we can have a reset and play every game since 1945 to make sure that all is above board.
 
Poor Gibson. He wanted Waghorn so badly that when he was available on a free this summer he wasn’t interested. It’s a crying shame isn’t it. It’s Coventry I feel sorry for. Having signed Pickering, Coop, Konjic and Powell from them, the case against them is pretty clear cut and could bankrupt them. I would instruct the lawyers straight away.

In a nice fantasy world. Ashley buys the club, buys the Stadium off Mel/MSD, pays off all creditor's. Takes the EFL to court and wins the case (gets the 9 points deducted back). Takes that idiot Gibson and the gobby yank at Wycombe to court and sues them for millions. We finish the season in a comfortable mid-table position.
And then next season..................................................
