I am following the @RadioactiveWaste approach and have so far run and walked  140miles in Jan (set myself 150 target).
Cant do the same right through Feb though, I’m bloody knackered. Weather should soon be getting better soon… ?☀️

I've already deleted it. And yes, gallows humour works for me. Better to laugh than cry I find.

Yes, but.  So far the EFL have shown no sign of wanting to make a decision either way on whether MFC/WW are football creditors or not.  They have consistently said that the matter should be subject to arbitration which process they suggest has started (they've never answered the questions why it taken so long if it began 12 months ago, nor explained why they are wishing to stay out of their own arbitration process or how their Chairman apparently knows nothing about the detail of the claims - bet he does now).  It would take a humiliating u-turn for them to reach a decision on whether they're football creditors or not in the next 24 hours. They would be open to legal challenge from both MFC and WW.
As Chris Coles said on the moan-in tonight it still remains the key question.
I'm not convinced the EFL will shift their basic stance. There's too much risk to them, too much been said in public and too little leadership in the organisation. So what compromise could be found? If the bidders/PB is prepared to take on MFC/WW after taking over, then the EFL could agree to hold the 'arbitration' process up to allow the takeover to happen with the result of the arbitration binding on all parties; they could lift any threat of us being liquidated on February 1st by extending the timelines to, say, the end of June (that presumes we can find enough money to get through to that point but we should be able to do so if we can announce the PB and let them take over the running and funding of the club in advance of formal agreement with all the creditors).  If I were the administrators I would want an immediate lifting of the embargo and an end to any threat of further points deductions as a minimum.
Carlile's statement that they are prepared to take on the challenge of MFC/WW is helpful in that it allows at least one bidder to extend the timescales. It also encourages the other two to do likewise as part of their bids.  The administrators will find it harder - and we might be back to square one - if the other bidders refuse to take on any MFC/WW liability but offer the creditors more money

Whatever the split / amount it will be the minimum needed to cover football debts, plus whatever HMRC consider better than liquidation plus x pence in the pound for normal trade creditors
I’d guess that Despite the EFL’s vague and unhelpful stance Boro and WW don’t have a judgment in court so it isn’t a football debt at this point in anyones language.

With a thin squad, and lots of inexperienced players, we will have the odd game like today when we don't quite meet the standards we've set.
Keeping those days few and far between will be key to any survival hopes.
I'd imagine Rooney and the players will be as relieved as us fans that this game is out the way, and the team's above us didn't capitalize on our defeat.
    Sorry for going off topic.

Dean (hick) Saunders reacted to G STAR RAM in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
Just thinking out loud here but with all interested parties seemingly now throwing statements and questions around like confetti, should one of our official supporter groups try to engage with Gibson and put some questions to him?
Im thinking of something along the lines of:-
1 - Please confirm how much your claim against DCFC is for, how it is calculated and on what basis it is made
2 - Please confirm why your claim is against DCFC and not the EFL. You will be aware that an IDC found that Derby had not 'systematically cheated' as you claim and had fully acted within the rules.
3 - How many clubs are you aware in recent years that have breached P&S rules and been promoted? Why have you not made claims against any of these clubs?
4 - Is it true that in the year ended 30 June 2016, your club surrendered its tax losses to another of your companies and used the tax saving as profit for P&S purposes? If so, do you believe that this was in the spirit of P&S rules?
5- If your claim is successful, how do you see it affecting the future of the football league, when league positions are decided in a courtroom rather than on the football field.
6 - In light of your recent statement, it appears that you seem very aware of the intracacies of what is happening behind the scenes at DCFC. Given that, by your own admission, you have not been in contact with the administrators can you please confirm how you are obtaining your information.

In some ways Gibson has all the cards. Currently he is getting nothing. He can push us right to the edge trying to get something but if he pushes that bit more we are over the edge, liquidated, and he gets nothing situation unchanged

Absolutely staggering to see the progression that the majority of the squad has made into the first team. Huge kudos has to be given to the youth structure and also to Rooney/co for believing in these players. Do we have the next generation coming through for use in the first team in 1-2 years or are these players all being snatched away by the likes of Liverpool and Man United? Obviously we're currently pushing all the better kids though as necessity, we just need to keep the conveyor belt turning.
I'm sure we'd all much rather have a bench filled with own our crop with a sprinkling of experience than a bench full of £20-30k a week "earners" with more in reserve. It simply isn't sustainable as we know, and we need to keep the great camaraderie between fans and players up as much as possible.
