Think I would take the money if it got us out of Umbongo. This is doing more harm than losing one player.

If it does not help us out of Umbongo then keep until we are out by other means and then it’s a case of is having the cash (to invest elsewhere) more useful than the player? 

It has to be more than just running around and building fitness.

Hoping we will have a consistent Plan A style of play that we largely stick to and that starts here.

I think we will play the 2-1-1-4-2 formation to “keep it simple for the lads to understand”..

If you put Colin Warnock in charge then you might think. He will know how to get the best of that lot.

With Wazza he hasn’t got the same experience and is in the learning phase and may not get the best of them.

Hoping he has learned enough to get us toward mid table.

Anyone think he will make it on the pitch in the Manu friendly?

Given parsity of players maybe a reasonable chance of 45m. Then we can make a slightly better judgment.

Even on the boy photo the arms looked tight. The would do my head in to wear.

I will also need the XXXXXXXXXXL as well just for my arms/shoulders (I would class myself in the muscular but not ripped frame).

Could be just CKR’s massive muscles but it looks too tight (if that’s how it’s supposed to look).

Also don’t like the sleeves so it’s a ?? from me.

(I got a bit excited when they showed Roy Mac in the 60’s kit hoping it would be a bit similar to that.)

But, the worrying thing is that you do not think that a club with one of the largest fan bases in the country could maintain a competitive team that breaks even.

How can we hope to "finance" the club? Find investors who are willing to give us their money so that we can watch football? "Please Sir, can I have some more?"

On that basis the football industry is broken. Let's cut our losses - get out quick. Maybe start watching rugby - or maybe give baseball another go? (The stadium is separate from the club!)

I couldn’t pay £1k knowing it’s only filling some young kids back pocket for a couple of days (hardly any) work when I had to work really hard to earn the £1k. Just could not bring myself…

I see these as higher risk than the centre half’s (Jags, Steerman).

Experienced Champ centre halves could easily do a better (or even more easily, no worse than) last years centre halves. Not too many fast forwards in this division which will tear them a new one. Occasionally they will of course be embarrassed.

Solving the scoring goals problem with freebies sounds much harder. Getting many in and taking a look at them seems a logical (only) way of doing it. Hopefully one or two could be a good fit like CKR and Chris Martin in the past.

Quite possible that some (attackers) are being released not because the manager of released team did not want them just/only because of budget.
