Well just in case Kieran Maguire is lurking again, I should say I agree that the whole point behind the 12 point penalty is to prevent someone applying for administration if they could possibly avoid it… a penalty for a moral hazard clause.
But previously maguire has argued that the reason Derby are in administration Is due to overspending. But there is already a moral hazard penalty for overspending … and Derby are facing that penalty too.
 
you shouldnt be penalised for the same thing twice. In fact if it’s a penalty for immoral behaviour it should be the person who is carrying out the immoral behaviour who is punished , ie allegedly Morris, not the club …which obviously has gained no advantage anyway .

Well dont read those ones, or don't believe them. It ain't easy being a Rams fan right now though that's for sure.   

As a friend said to me over the weekend "Norwich are going to take your record this year" I wanted to suggest the initiation of St Claude's Day, the date on which no club can undertake (or equal) our points tally of eleven points. Named in honour of a player more symbolic of our lack of preparedness, ability, and commitment than any other (a statement of recognition in itself) in that 07/08 season the race is now on to predict on what day it will fall this season.
In previous years St Claude's Day has fallen on the following weekends, last season's Covid affected schedule aside it has only three times made it past New Years Day.

2019/20: 22nd December (Watford)
2018/19: 27th February (Huddersfield)
2017/18: 13th December (Swansea)
2016/17: 19th December (Sunderland)
2015/16: 18th January (Aston Villa)

I think as others have said their State pensions will be oK. though they say you need payslips but you would hope HMRC would know what was deducted now with RTI, even if it hasnt been paid . Not sure to be honest, thanks for flagging this.  Their jobs are at risk of course which is a bigger worry.
