  1. There is no benefit for Chris Kirchner to delay this process so you need to look who does benefit

I'm sure that the only people who saw this bank holiday situation coming were the lawyers, and you can also be pretty sure that they are more than happy to have an extra few million quid sitting in their account for four or five extra days.

I've never seen a lawyer in a hurry because they get paid by the minute. Unfortunately they are the ones who control the pace of these transactions.

  2. Reading through twitter and the Derbyshire Live comments section I hope to god that CK doesn't think that these deadheads represent the wider supporter base of Derby County.

I'm not sure how some of these people have managed to reach adulthood. CK has made himself available for questions at all points during this process and on face value he has given honest answers regardless of whether they are good or bad news.

Cut the bloke a bit of slack, wind your necks in, engage your brains and show a bit of patience, it's only 1 extra day, which is nothing after what we've been through.

  3. VAR, controlled by referees for the benefit of referees so they were never going to overturn a Moss decision in his last game. Don't greet it with a fanfare for the finals if you aren't actually going to use it.

Both teams were poor but Forest were always going to win if it was an ugly game with Steve Cooper in charge.

Let's see how much they enjoy losing most of their games next season because they are woefully short on actual talent

How anyone can still stand by what Mel Morris did is absolutely staggering. There is no a place dark enough on this planet for that man's soul to heal.

Truly one of the most repugnant human beings to ever walk this planet and this City is far worse off for having him steal oxygen here for far too long.

Whilst I'm certainly not trying to justify anything Mel Morris did, I doubt he'd make the top million, if there was a table of "most repugnant human beings to ever walk this planet".

What I’m about to say is factual and not negative ? Craig Ramage was poor at his job as a co-commentator, he had long enough to get better but never did and should count himself lucky he got to do it for as long as he did. He’d get himself all excited and make up words to describe what was happening. Eric is far better, I know b4 will say he was negative but when Eric got excited there was a reason to be and his understanding of the game was miles better.

Sorry Seth but your opinion about Craig Rammage is not factual. It may or may not be accurate, and I wouldn't say that you are being necessarily negative but it certainly isn't factual.

  6. Can't help thinking that we have been well and truly stitched up by the EFL.

They were happy to stand by and watch Morris steal Pride Park off the club, and now they are at the forefront aiding him in holding the club to ransom by insisting that they will only sign the takeover off once a deal has been done on the ground.

Feels like we've just been held up by Dick Turpin

Won't have the "free hand/prem expectation/oodles of Dosh" that Sam rush had. But I totally get the concerns.

I thought that Paul Stretford had retired as an agent? If so he may be the perfect person for that role, with an in depth knowledge of how agents work without being tied to any particular agency, which was Rush's biggest downfall

  8. This a fantastic, positive step and if the only reason for this move is to block Mike Ashley, then it surely shows that CK is not stupid. I will be truly convinced and overjoyed when we get confirmation of either a re signing or a new signing because that will mean that the deal is done regardless of which enigmatic statement we have been handed.

One cautionary note is that I'm not really sure what cheques CK has to write before the hopeful completion date of May 31st. We have been told that here is some money remaining so, unless that is not true, the next big money outgoings will be at the end of the month now that the season is finished.

Today is a positive day for those that want to embrace it, the others can choose to carry on as they have for the last 2 years. I know what I'm going to do.
