Keeper did nothing wrong...keeps his spot for me.

Cashin had a great game. Bradley was ok but still a bit nervy. Worst performance from Nelson for a while,  back 3 doesn't suit him at all.

Wilson was game and Forsyth solid again.

Collins just playing so much better recently. NML was great again. Bird looks classy but him and Hourihane is pretty un-atheletic as a pairing.

JJ didn't feature much. Barkhuizen scored but he's another who doesn't get around the pitch enough eg got turned and just jogged back.

Characteristic Derby/Warne performance. High energy, got the points but when we drop below our levels we look really likely to concede. Goal was similar to the P'Boro first goal, just flipped cross in and no one competes.

Bench looked strong and players to come back. However for a few minutes we looked like we may throw away a very winnable game. We don't go for the jugular and do concede ground and make life difficult.

Fresh legs and even more options in the window and push on.

He nearly cost us when he came out and chested it.  He's probably about the same standard as Wildsmith.  OK with an error pending.  Could be why the defence was a bit unsure.  New goalie can make a difference in real time rather than training.

Read about this scandal many years ago in Private Eye. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the people involved. Senior managers of the software company, senior managers of the post office and senior members of the government were all happy to destroy working peoples lives rather than admit summatt was wrong.

"Hello dear, how's your day been?".

"Oh, you know, i managed to feck someones life up to protect my bonus".

    "Marvellous dear, well done".

What sort of people can do this knowing the devastation they are causing?

Remember when that team of George Osbornes mates, sorry experts in their field, made their accounting error on it's privatisation of a mere 750 million that they revalued a day later.  Good job they corrected it so promptly, or those shares they bought in  droves on their original valuation wouldn't have pocketed them a few million when they were immediately sold the following day.

I remember when so many people here thought that Jody Morris was the brains behind the Lampard era. His time at Swindon has now dispelled that myth. Though Lampard's subsequent spells at Chelsea and Everton suggest there were little brains involved at all.

€1.5m was reported for Buchanan as compensation. I'm not sure Ebiowei's has even been decided yet, but they only offered us a measly £30k, which we obviously rejected and so it's gone to tribunal.

I seem to recall an accepted figure for Buchanan of 440 k to avoid the dragging out and costs.  Might be wrong on that though.  Ebiowei roll on is a disgrace, especially as they will have had a loan fee since.  Probably have 10 players on more than 30k a week. There our friends as well, course they are.

What have you seen Fornah do? Personally I haven’t hardly seen anything to include him in the matchday 18 and I expect not to be with us in a years time

He had a good game against Blackpool and 10 minutes against Bristol Rovers.  Not much other than that.

Ince, Hendrick, Bogle, Christie, Plange, Jozwiak, Luke Thomas, Brayford. Some good sales there where we got peak value. Even Will Hughes was sold for less when he moved on.

Sales is a mixed picture overall skewed by the fire sales around the periods of administration.

Having said that, selling Goddard was the Derby equivalent of Leeds selling Eric Cantona. Never understood that.

I believe Goddard had an agreement that he would be allowed to move back to London if a certain fee was paid.  A favour he was granted as a thanks for turning down Liverpool and coming to Derby.

Didn't we have Leeds' pants down over a certain player , then sign him back on a free ?

Good old Seth.  They also had to pay him 25 k a week wages whilst he bullied us too promotion.

If I don't fu@@ing bounce, does that make me a red?

I have never 'bounced' at a game and nor will I.

Has anyone ever noticed the jeers from the opposing fans when the bounce starts? It's the one time when I am genuinely embarrassed to be in the crowd.

Embarrassed to be in the crowd of the club you believe is the most embarrassing in the history of football.

Your a bit of a masochist mate .  I should stay at home and self flagellate with Kenny burns pants .  Cheaper and warmer.

If I was Paul Warne I'd be looking at January and thinking we should by no means be dropping any points against these sides

If we hoover up these points against some fairly poor teams it will give us a real push for automatics and hopefully and boost in January unlike last year with the additional signings to bolster our chances, whoever comes in will be crucial and they must be better than the players currently in the squad as minimum criteria

January could be the pivotal part of the season for The Rams 🐏

    Let's believe!

Reading seem to have woke up slightly since we were supposed to play them.  That will be a tricky one.  Burton will play like a team possessed as every trip to Pride Park is like a sugar coated dream for them, so that will be another tricky one.

Bristol City have more ex-Derby players than Derby have ex-Rotherham players.

They may as well call themselves Derby B. Must be because Nigel Pearson used to be their manager.

That was in the old days when we sent them all the ones we didn't want.  Now we let them have the regular starters.

    More ‘interesting’ stuff coming

Paid £12million for him in Jan, ripped up his contract in August.

I see the promotion bonus has been raised in article.  Mentioned it last year as it's an often overlooked cost amongst the others. When we were promoted in 07 the set promotion bonus was 500k a player, even for those out on loan who hadn't kicked a ball.  Probably talking close to double that now, plus wage increase on a large squad on promotion.  Don't know how many players they retained but they didn't seem to shift many other than loans going back. Not really an unusual scenario in that regard as the Taylors of the world will happily sit on a final year on 7 times the money of joining Wycombe earlier.  Fat end of 30 million regardless.

  12. I'm not sure about the value of signing a player who a League 2 club have loaned to another League 2 club.  This sort of thing gives me Blackman vibes.
