Would be mad to remove him when in all likelihood his money will clear first?

I presumed that is what 'flushed out' the 'back-up funding'?

Nixon stating he has see both proof of CK money and also proof of the bank transfer from CK on Mon which I would assume the EFL and Quantuma have seen. If CK has genuinely sent the money I cant see any other interested party getting a bid in & the paperwork etc sorted before this money lands (probably why he is still confident of the deal). If he sent it Mon just gone it could quite possibly land in the escrow account any day now, this Mon coming would be a week from the transfer, a lot of payments in general can take 5-10 working days.

The s*** show of this week and the fit and proper person test don't overlap.
He had the money
He wasn't a crook
He had no bankruptcies or liquidations
He hadn't misrun a football club before
That's all you can expect them to check.

Am I wrong? He moved 20.4million to a specially opened account on 19th May. The administrators have see it there, the EFL have seen it there Nixon claims to have seen it there, so he has the Money and has sent it. The anti laundering side of the bank stopped it being cleared. Nobody knows when it will be cleared, could be hours, days or weeks. Depends on their workload and the checks they do

I think DCFC can quite rightly claim against them, and also may have a case
for appeal on any forthcoming rulingS from the EFL

So one Tweet, not sure who, said the funds are moving to a new account set up to buy Derby. So I assume they need to go to a new account set up in a brand new company (Surely someone can work that out) which will then need to transfer it to DCFC account.
Why is the transfer not going straight into the DCFC account? I'd like to think CK has shown the admins the proof of transfer.
I'm also shocked no one here can influence the money police to get this expedited.
I'm still going for a CK victory here.

I want to make it absolutely clear that I would take Saudi money at Derby County, short of the leader of ISIS himself, I’m really not picky at this point.

Seems ludicrous to me that after all this time, about turns, shenanigans etc..
we are prepared to pull the plug, when it has been officially confirmed
that the 'millions' are in transit, and going through the system
what a difference a day makes eh

Don't think he would say that the money had left his account (in the US) and is in transit, if it wasn't,
99.9% certain it will be over in next 48 hrs and everyone will be looking forward again.
He did say he wont give any updates unless there is something new to add!

Hypothetically -
If CK has transferred the money and it has been subjected to enhanced Money Laundering checks for whatever reasons (Authorities untrusting of Crypto origins, because its a person>company transfer rather than a hedge fund or trust fund purchasing us, or whatever) and it turns out that the delays were outside of his control. What will people do then?
I've seen comments of 'He will need to rebuild bridges if it does go through', I think its the opposite way around. All of this hysteria today and nobody has yet substantiated any source or proof. Some of the accusations and vitriol towards CK today has been shocking. I understand *fully* how stressful this whole situation has been for Derby fans, but personally, I wouldn't want to talk to the media either if I had been turned on like Derby fans have done today, especially if it turns out that it was delayed by external checks after all.
If this does go through, then our fan base has a lot of groveling to do.
Obviously if he has been messing us around this whole time, then fair enough, go for it. But as hard as it is to wait, I wont be aiming both barrels until I hear an explanation form the horses mouth.

Don't worry, everything is sorted, and we're waiting for CK to fly over here
for the day of press conferences, Rams tv news and interviews , open day at PP
new player and resigned players thoughts etc..
with a big interview with CK & WR about the future, and where we are heading,
namely onward and upwards - It's just a case of which day is it.
2/3 days of celebrations take quite a time to plan!

I know CK has been a little haphazard and inconsistent in his tweets and various communications in this whole process. His "funds" are slightly mysterious, but he clearly has plenty. He's a (questionably how much, we don't know ) wealthy man who's entering into the takeover as a vanity project.
I think Mike Ashley seriously underestimated him as a tyre-kicker and thought he wouldn't be able to get the deal over the line, and he could do what he's done a hundred times, and saunter in at the eleventh hour with the only offer in town.
MA got it wrong. Despite CK's amateurish PR, he clearly has the readies to get this far, hence the reported attempt by Ashley to share the deal late on.
I'm not enthused by either of them, but that's where Mel has left us. The last 2 players at the poker table are the flash boy and the bluffer. Maybe they're both bluffing.
It's looking like CK will - eventually - get it over the line, and if he does we'll all be grateful.
I only hope that we can just get back to supporting our great club again whilst living within our means.
Sadly, nothing is certain given how far we've fallen.
Hopeful, but still rather wary.

If we have ceased as a club, some people would have truly lost their minds if they don't have an ounce of patience right now.

I've got tears in my eyes, after reading the BBC article
Can't wait to see what additions WR going to get. I'm hoping
that we can get some regular Rams tv updates along the way
and interviews, it'll help to stave off the tedium ?

DesertRam reacted to Bob The Badger in Said no Derby fan ever
It's the off season, so what are some things you'd never hear a Derby fan say.
I'll kick off with a few:
I have a real soft spot for Kenny Burns.
Bobby Campbell was a much underrated striker.
I always knew that Claude Davis was the final piece of the jigsaw prior to the 2007 season
Robert Maxwell loved the club and the city with all of his heart.
Leeds were too big to come down, I'm happy for them.
It was great to see Cloughie take over down the road.
We never really deserved to beat QPR, it was a fair result.
I really admire the sportsmanship of Brice Samba.
I felt terrible for the home fans when Marriott's second goal went in during the playoffs.
I quite liked the BBG, but it never really had much atmosphere.
I thought the ref in the Juventus game was outstanding.
And finally, for @B4ev6is - I LOVE those pink shirts.
