I'm sorry but some of the posts in here have me raging.
It's always instantly defending the accused rather than sympathising with the victim, or in this case, victims.
This isn't just a small accusation that has no evidence, this has been on the cards for years and the victims are finally ready to come out. That's okay and if you actually listened or read any of the news articles, any previous attempts to come out, the victims have been intimidated by Brand's lawyers. There's no way C4 or The Times would have been able to publish anything without evidence.
For the past few years Brand has been placing himself on the right side of the political spectrum and has been going with this "anti mainstream media" view because he knows this is his best chance of getting some defenders from the public. When the people speaking out in your favour are Elon Musk, Andrew Tate, Carlson Tucker and Katie Hopkins, I can make my own conclusions solely based off that.
Look at this from earlier on this year:

This is after a 3 year+ investigation with medical records and text conversations etc, this isn't just a small accusation.

Slaapwekkend P reacted to Caerphilly Ram in Can anyone actually name a single improvement Warne has done since arriving?
He’s not single handed, he has a staff who work with him and a squad of footballers who are somewhat accountable for their performances, or at least should be. And we’re not in the relegation places so no need to panic about that just yet.
The expression of constructive concerns based on observed points around style of play are understandable and usually based on reason/opinion. The repeated melodramatic threads, pile ons, criticisms linked to his values and motivations, comments bordering on personal attacks are tiresome.
Those amongst the fan base who feel so strongly about Warne, get together and stage a protest. Make some banners. Do a walkout during the match. Drop some flyers around pride park. Arrange a plane with a banner to fly over Pride Park. Do something with your frustrations that amounts to more than the same threads popping up over and over that won’t actually change anything.

I will pretend this is not just a thread that is yet another pile on...
It's hard to quantify 'better' when points are the only real barometer everyone agrees on. Two wins and suddenly we are in the top 6 and it all looks different in that regard.
As for the rest, personally the football isn't as bad as everyone is harping on about. Today's match thread really painted a reality I wasnt seeing, it wasnt the worst football I've ever seen that's for sure and IF we were winning it would be ok for me.
We are able to win away from home.
The harmony in the team/club MAY be better with the players he's brought in (and definitely wouid be if we were winning).
They MAY be fitter (they looked fitter today IMO).
He didn't splash out on £1-2m players as some fans were calling for, so I'm guessing he's helping to improve the finances.
He's got some calls right (Waghorn, Forsyth) and some signings are starting to look decent.
All irrelevant though. If we start winning and are top 6 he will be doing 'ok' ....and if we aren't or we do 'ok' but then fail miserably in the play offs he will be gone anyway.

Plenty of Rotherham fans were also lamenting his loss when he left them for us with many saying we were now nailed on for promotion. Whatever suits the narrative......

Slightly dumbfounded that the best forward for the league was available for 800K and we weren't in for that.
Where is the money to spend? We sold Knight and Bielik. What was that money used for?  Don't tell me it was to pay off outstanding fees to Lech Poznan because supporters were assured at a charter meeting that there were no outstanding fees to pay before these players were sold.
It leads me to believe that we were in for Jonson Clarke-Harris and that @Big Travwas once again correct in what he was saying. I think our move for him fell through because the Cashin move to Brighton fell through. Trav can confirm or deny that if he wants/knows.
As for his ITKness - people are saying he only knows when someone is in the building...surely the contact he has, who presumably works at the club, is always at the club all the time and is therefore hearing all the time about what the general news on the ground is/what the club are trying to do?
I have been ITK in the past as some people know (my contact left a few years ago now so haven't been for ages) and just because they worked in one particular department didn't mean they didn't regularly hear about who we were wanting to sing/what the general mood was/who the targets were etc.
So, all being said in done, I'm definitely still a Big Trav fan, I feel sorry for him for the pelters he's getting and want to say a big THANK YOU for sharing what info you get on the forum.

I would like to say I’ve proven myself to be pretty spot on a lot of times this summer. It’s your choice to listen or not but all these snarky comments that I’m receiving are not really needed when all I’m doing is passing on information that I’m told.

I saw a 3.0 turbo diesel Jaguar on the A50 last night with smoke coming out of the engine as it was straining to keep up with a soft top Bentley Sports. Anyone know who owns it ?

Apologies to the posters I've quoted, there were countless others I could have chosen.
Is it just me or does this kind of argument remind anyone else of the attitude to FFP that contributed to the club's current position?
Dark arts, professionalism, poohousery, call it what you want. At the end of the day it's cheating and embarrassing to see. Personally it's not what I want to be associated with and I'd rather the club played with integrity and sought to influence a change in the way it's dealt with.

2 wrongs don't make a right. As that American chappie, Jackson, once said "If you wanna make the world a better place
Take a look at yourself and then make a change"...
If we want to stamp it out, it has to start somewhere. FA/EFL have made it clear that "simulation" will lead to a card. It has on a fair few occasions over the Leagues but not every one is caught by the refs.
I'd love to see, and I know it won't happen, PW go public saying he'll fine and sub off any player who does it and his players have been instructed not to do it. He should also say that he would expect refs to card every player who does it, be it one of ours or one of the opposition.
It is, indeed "shithousery" and needs sorting.
Wildsmith went down in my estimation at the weekend.

Totally agree. People have differing  opinions and this shouting down of posters belittles what the forum us about in my view. I don’t want a cancel culture……we can disagree by all means but let’s do it with respect .
