If clowes is basically putting his money up to save the club and give others a chance, say a year, to get their house in order to buy him out, then that will do for me.
If he is doing it for a long term rebuild, and multi year ownership, then that will do for me.
Always been about the club surviving. It was clear about 2 or 3 months into this situation thst we would come very close to going under and not existing.
The fact thet someone, anyone, is willing to attempt to clean up the mess the club is in is, quite frankly, astonishing and shouldn't be overlooked.

Can’t believe THIS …. Sent my dad the SSN tweet and he came back and said “yeah I was talking to someone yesterday at my golf club and they said it’s close”.
The one time I could of been ITK and he didn’t even bother to tell me!!!

I'll welcome Ashley if he gets the club but f*** me, he's annoying!
I'm sick to death of his game playing, he's clearly an intelligent business man so surely he understands that just continually telling everyone that he has £50m 'waiting' to complete the takeover, does not get the job done. He is a multi-billionaire so of course he has that kind of money sitting about, but unless he puts that down on the table he just looks like a buffer.
If he wants to buy the club, and if he wants it in anything other than a desolate state, walk into Quantumas office tomorrow, slap £10m on the table and tell them that they can have the other £40m next week if they just give him the go ahead.
OK that's over simplified but my point is, IF YOU WANT THE f****** CLUB, JUST BUY IT!

The EFL will be forced to intervene and concede that the new owners hold player registrations. If they fail to do this, there is no precedent or valid reason why Derby should pay football debts.
As an example, Derby County's new owners cannot be forced by EFL to pay the remaining balance of Bielek's transfer fee to Arsenal if they do not then rule that Derby County's new owners DO own Bielek's registration.

We all want a future for Derby County so I’ll make one last point and then let it be as I’m conscious of labouring my point and I appreciate how stressful/frustrating this process and the role of the admins has been for us fans so people are keen to apportion blame and rightly so in some cases.
The part of the EFL statement you’ve quoted still does nothing to prove that Quantuma are not involving the EFL as you and many other fans are claiming, it’s speculation again. Quantuma are not “hiding behind” NDAs, they are legally binding contracts, the legislation around data protection prevents them from sharing the name and data relating to any party exploring the purchase of the club unless that party (not Quantuma) gives consent. Quantuma would be breaking the law and subject to a fine and potential further punishment if they broke those agreements.
If we take what Trevor Birch (CEO of the EFL) has said in his letter to Derby fans groups, Quantuma have given the EFL contact information for the solicitors of the interested parties (something that must have been agreed and consent given for that information to be shared) and those parties have denied to engage with the EFL (again this is evidence of Quantuma engaging with the EFL, not the opposite). I’ve added the pic of that paragraph.
Q have far from covered themselves in glory through this process as I mentioned before, by all means they should be called out on other points, but this specific idea that they are not telling the EFL things just to be difficult is completely unfounded in my view and if anything it has been proven that they are talking to the EFL by the highest positioned member of that organisation and by the fact they communicated the info around CKs bid.
Anyway, hopefully this is a moot point soon and the club is taken over or at the very least funded for the season pending a takeover and we can get back to on the pitch matters ?

We're on the cusp of relegation but the manager, coaching staff and every single player come out of this season with enormous credit.
I am proud to be a Derby County supporter.
It has been a privilege to witness the effort of all those at the club this season.
The staff and the supporters do not deserve what we've been through - and football has to restructure itself so this does not keep happening.
But what we've seen on the pitch - against all the odds has been staggering.
    Rooney, Ram ?
    Rosenior, Ram ?
    The whole squad, Rams ?
Those behind the scenes, Rams ?

This is why I cannot understand any sympathetic posts about Morris
I can forgive trying to get us promoted by giving managers funds that we don’t have to buy players but I CANNOT forgive not paying our taxes! Running up millions in debt to HMRC is scandalous and being a so called businessman this part of running a business is part and parcel of every single company and business in the land yet he run up millions of debt ….I’m so down it’s unreal and yes there are worse things going on in the world I get that …but I just don’t see anyone spending 30m without the stadium …Morris should not charge anything for PP after what he left behind!!!!???

My gut still tells me that yes, we will.
Letting Derby go under ultimately doesn’t help anyone, EFL included.
I have a lot of thoughts about everything that’s gone on/is going on but it is probably best that I keep them to myself.
All I will say is that the supporters & staff have been let down at every turn.

Yet again fans are looking for answers to questions and you’re trying to shut those down with information that you can’t prove, having caught up with the topic there is multiple examples of this.
You attempted to shut down my Football Creditor topic, an issue which is clearly relevant and been picked up on both by MP’s and the media, even yesterday one MP telling the EFL to tread very carefully as they could remove the Football Creditor status for everyone and forced to operate like a usual business. A threat that has come from the EFL’s insistence on us treating both Boro and Wycombe’s claims of football debt.
Regulation 4.4, a regulation which Middlesbrough’s lawyers sent to Mel Morris, omitting a key line that says only the EFL can take action, yet you believe the regulation to be a non issue as it’s just on good faith. Please explain why the Middlesbrough lawyers used that in their letters to Mel Morris to form their claim if it’s not relevant, have you seen the claim and have a better understanding of it than the clubs lawyers?
And here we are again, trying to say bilateral contracts exist between clubs, which again just isn’t true. This is true in the Premier League hence why it’s written for all to see, it’s also been seen in court with cases between clubs. Yet you will not find a single line of proof this exists from the EFL, nor will you have any examples of clubs suing each other in the EFL because it just does not exist.
Please, please, stop spreading misinformation whilst we as a community of fans within the fanbase are trying to find answers from the EFL, it’s not helpful and completely counter productive as we try to help save our club.

People who complain on trip advisor etc even when they have been given everything possible to resolve their issues at the point of the problem. Why do that?  Mistakes happen, if every effort has been made to compensate and apologise why isn’t that enough? They still have to have that last underhand spiteful dig.

If posters are going to accuse a double jabbed poster of putting lives at risk when he speaks out against the vaccine I want to know what view they take of people that have actually been offered the vaccine but don't want to take it.

I'm extremely interested to see what reaction this post draws from certain posters as it will give us more of an insight into whether they are attacking points made or individual posters.
I can definitively say that had @Archiedmade this post there would be a few posters wading in with their usual 'selfish', 'anti vaxxer', 'conspiracy theorist' and 'putting peoples lives at risk' insults.
I'm pretty sure your post will not draw the same reaction.

Great interview on Radio Derby. Really honest.
Said if it was any other club than Derby he'd have been gone before now. But he wanted to stay and this is now the longest he has stayed at any club in his career.
Also said neither him nor Stearman even knew they'd be here when they trained Thursday and that they had no playing time together as a pair in pre-season.
Gave praise to Derby players and call outs for Roos, Sibley, Fozzy.
Oh, and he did say he didn't touch the ball for the goal! But he credited Duane Holmes with the assist! ?

I think you are both being a bit disingenuous here. I read that, and align that with all the noises Rooney has made lately, trying to prove he is committed to this club. I take this as a sign of positive intent, albeit whether he has what it takes to be successful is another issue completely, I think what he's saying is he's here for the long haul and not going to snake away and distance himself from potential faiilure.

'Enormous pressure' is being a neurosurgeon, a midwife delivering babies day on day out, or an ambulance driver arriving at the scene of an accident.
Enormous pressure is not worrying about whether Derby may or may not sign anyone ahead of the first game of the season or how to tell people what was said in a meeting.
People need to get a grip on reality.
Derby have been in various messes before and come through them...fortunately they were pre twitter and fan entitlement or there would have been armageddon.

What was Morris' comments before the meeting?
A complete shambles of a club, but they are getting exactly what they deserve with what he has done over the past few years. How long before Rooney jumps ship?

That is the perception of Derby County Football Club from the outside. A lot of our fans think the same and I’m not here to argue with them I am here however to ask you to put your finely tuned Stradivarius away and spare us from the woe is me ********.
I find it galling that under your ownership of this club we have gone from having a lot to be admired, to, and I quote, “A complete shambles of a club” In other words a laughing stock.

From a financial point of view you should have the likes of Rawson as emergency cover at CB, rather than have Pearce or Shackell sitting on their bums for the entire season except for a 10 minute spell.
You have Hanson in their because he offers emergency cover in multiple positions, rather than having 7 CMs on more than £20k, a 3rd LB on over £10k and similar at RB.
Lowe was no better at 22 than he was at 18, because he didn't get the football his ability deserved.4 years of lost game time, and you don't think that hindered his potential? The others similar, but to a lesser extent.
