I’ve told you a million times, stop exaggerating.

I must have refreshed this thread 1000 times since it's creation.

All that bolarks is sorted. It's finding a 20 x 8 foot table that's causing the issues.

OK having attended many closings on deals like this, this is what happens,
1. The closing will take place at a lawyers office
2. All the documents to be signed are laid out on a big table typically 20ft x 8ft 
3. Most documents run to many pages in many cases up to 50-60 pages each document, each page has to be read and signed and then countersigned by a witness , typically the lawyer handling the transaction.
4. All of this takes many hours, I have completed S+P agreements at 4.00am having started before lunch the previous day.
5. Only when all is signed does the money get transferred, as there is a charge holder , MSD then they will have their legal team there too.  
I do not expect the deal to be completed today.

Please not another day of disappointment. 

if clowes can do a deal in less than a week it really does make you wonder why an earth the admins kept extending kirchners deadline

Yes, the only ones missing that I could see was rav, bryne, Lawrence and knight. CKR, Davies (who has agreed a new deal), fozzy, Watson, cashin, Thompson, stearman, buchanan, bird, bielik, Stretton we’re all there. But tomorrows the interesting day with trailists set to come in tomorrow. Hopefully they come out soon

If the purchase of the club happens before the contract ends and the optional extra year has been taken up,  then the only way Byrne is going is if it involves a transfer fee

How is Byrne out when we took up an option?

Papers say alot of things. Personally if they are trying to get out of their contracts in this way (as reported) I wouldnt want them in the team anyway. 

No, no I haven't. As you said they are "trying" I havent read anywhere that they were successful

Curtis is a bloody legend. You just knew he would turn up regardless. The man is unequivocal.
Props to Fozzy, Stearman and CKR too, even though I'm surprised the last 2 weren't on the released list.
We could do worse than getting Curtis and CKR on the coaching staff in the next 12 months.
Curtis seems integral to the fabric of this squad - we talk about Liam being continuity after Wazza walked, but Davies is a key part of any model going forward - universally respected, a great ambassador, and seemingly with both the intelligence and drive to move from mentor to coach and possibly further up.
CKR also seems to have a good attitude/positive outlook that would translate well.
Interesting that there's no mention of Bird or Buchanan. The way things are going lately I expect to be told that we've finally been taken over and then an hour later that they've walked away for free thanks to a loophole.
 

You could argue there's more important things than literally everything apart from the most important thing in the world.
Therefore, should we only talk about the single most important thing? and if so what is it?
Or, here's a crazy idea, perhaps we could have different pages for different topics and if you aren't interested in any given topic, just don't comment.

Talking about something as trivial as what our kit might look like is a nice little escape from the endless torment that the takeover has been for what seems like forever
