1 match, it's also not really Warne's fault that Bradley undercooked his pass back or that Wildsmith didn't get the cross that he came for.

Unless Warne starts winning soon, he’s out. He’s starting to lose the fans and that never ends well.
can still stick his f****** why wall up his arse regardless of results though.

The past is gone. Judge him on this season. It's been 1 game. If our fans can't be patient for one defeat, maybe they should go watch another sport.

Its only a tiny minority of people who mither about pre-season results. Most of us know it don't matter other than starting to look a coherent unit by the last game or two.
More importantly, is it true this song was sung at Matlock?
    🎶 Rhythm is a dancer
    Collo is the answer
he scores goals from anywhere 🎶

I get that. Nobody wants to see us lose, but it's pre season and already getting that same old summer vibe.
    Where are the signings?
    Announce the kit!
Nice kit but where are the signings?
It's natural the next reaction will be after losing to Salford that the season is done for, Warne shouldn't even be in charge of an ice cream van.

    4. Expats. I live in the Netherlands. 10 years ago I could, for a Saturday game, fly in on the Friday morning, 2 nights hotel, match ticket, 3 days food and drink, travel from and to the airport and back home Sunday evening all for a mere £250. Fast forward to pre covid and the cost had gone up to £350. Last season it was up to £500 (did 5 home games) and the 2 away games I came back for (hospitality at FGR and Barnsley) cost closer to £800 a pop. It's not a question of "plum" games, it's a question of having the money and it not clashing with life over here. Looking at between 6 and 8 home games this season, one a month roughly. Quite sure there'll be a plum one in there somewhere but there'll also be a Wycombe/ Cheltenham/Fleetwood/Stevenage or two to compensate.
    5. There'll be those with shift patterns that don't permit a season ticket as well or dependants for whom they care......

I’ve edited your post to the points I find most interesting.
We won today after our own poor run in which the players confidence has seemed shot compared to earlier in the season, it wasn’t pretty but could be the boost they needed. No matter how the goals came, they all count and it guaranteed us 3 points. A bit more confidence and Collins takes another chance (maybe 😉 ), Knight buries his header, McGoldrick takes one of his chances.
There does appear to be a disconnect between how Warne wants the game played to what attributes we have in the squad currently, and I have my own concerns with Warne’s apparent lack of reactive management during games of late. In terms of the squad not much can change there until the summer so we’ll have to wait and see, I’m one of those fans who isn’t going to be devastated if we don’t go up so long as the club continues in its recovery (not an excuse of “we only had 5 players”, just my genuine view of being glad to have a club to follow regardless of league, I know others don’t feel like me and some do).
Which brings me to your, and my final point, I interpret your view as being a bit more along the “football purist” view. Hypothetically, what would you think if Warne was successful in piecing together his squad in the summer and we start winning week in week out (whatever league) with a more athletic…erm…agricultural style of football?

I guess what I’m wondering is would you (and others) be able to reconcile the hypothetical success of the team against a preferred style of play? Fully aware that may not play out as I’m suggesting and we could get battered each week at which point I get the pitchforks will be sharpened and torches lit

To Derby County fans of a certain age this man was God, he was our generations Kevin Hector, his name would reverberate around the Baseball Ground for many years, even long after he had left us, it was his goals that dragged us kicking and screaming up the football league, Peter Taylor’s last moment of genius to add to those many legends he had spotted years before with his mate Brian.
Bobby is a super proud man, he still doesn’t understand the cult hero status that he holds in Derby with the fans, I think that it is a sad reflection on football that he is now working as a baggage handler at Leeds airport.
He should be walking around in diamond encrusted shoes, driving his Aston Martin, he has tried numerous years to let back into the club as a coach with the youth team but that became impenetrable under a certain individual and also MM.
He worked at St George’s for the FA for a number of years.
In my eyes he is an absolute legend of Derby County, an absolute idol as a kid, when everybody else had the keegans, dalglshes and Linekers we had Bobby, we might have been in the third division but it didn’t matter !
he never missed those one on ones with the keeper, he got his head in where it hurt and he had that great 80s moustache.
so heres to you Bobby Davison, Derby loves you more than you will know !

Hi guys!! I just want to thank you for your welcoming in representation of all Galician Rams. We had such a nice and funny time.
Pride Park is even more impressive than we thought watching from TV, and  the team was a 10 the other day. Also, every person that we met before, during and after the game was extremely nice, and we loved not only the team, but the city as well.
I'm sure that we'll be back as soon as we can.  We had already been Derby fans for a few years, but after this experience we are Rams for life.
You people are world class. GO RAMS!!
