I'm led to believe that Dajaune Brown is not travelling with the U21 team to Middlesbrough tomorrow so it seems he will probably going with the first team to Crewe.

Plus Mason Bennett, Malachi Sharpe, Sekou Kaba, James Scanlon, Kain Ryan and Dubem Eze.
I always rated Timi Max Elsnik.

Unless you scrap the offside rule, how on earth do you set up a side to suit James Collins?

And a 3-1 win away at Everton for the U18's. Now for the first team...

This is a perfect example of when I’d like to see retrospective punishment for blatant diving.

As it happened, it didn’t impact the game and despite how woeful the referee was we can blame him for the result but, this sort of thing really needs to be stamped out.

He's doing well there. Vitesse weren't very good at all before he joined so it was always a difficult job, his main aim was safety which he managed quite easily in the end. I imagine they also have ownership issues as their owner (or former, not sure) is a Russian oligarch. Won last 5/7 of the season including a 1-0 win away at champions Feyenoord.

Bird has all three. We’re finally seeing proof that our ugly duckling is turning into a swan. I’ll be heartbroken if we lose him to a Championship club.

Was at the game , big shout out for Conor for coming over to a toxic away end and trying to explain his frustrations , same again some shameful behaviour by some of our so called fans, don’t get me wrong it was not a good performance and the ref was a clown  but some of the abuse aimed at most of the players and manager was way over the top

Hourihane was asked about tactics at the fans forum and said it was up to the players to adapt to what the manager wants. In saying today, we are trying, he's giving the same message.
I think it is his way of saying we're doing what we're told to do. My take on that (both times) is that it's not what he - and probably several others - wants to do.
I'm maybe just thinking that because it's not what I want them to do, either.

It’s a shame to see. I don’t think he deserved to take the brunt of what was probably more aimed at the manager. Fair play to him for fronting up.
He actually put in a decent shift when he came on.

I really wanted it to work out with Cocu. Obviously, I want it to work out with every Derby manager but I really thought we were onto something with Cocu, it just felt like we had got ourselves someone a bit special. So sad when that didn't happen, and equally sad to see that Vitesse, who he is now managing, have only achieved the 30% win rate that he got at Derby.
If ifs and buts were apples and nuts eh!

Nowt black and white about anything that's happened at Derby in the last 5 years.
I don't think Rooney is a particularly good tactician or coach. But then neither were some of the greatest managers in history. In the right circumstances, he showed himself to be a great leader and gave us pride and hope when we had none.
Somewhat inevitably, given his celebrity profile, he comes with a fair bit of baggage and a circus behind the scenes that has no appeal to me.
Whether he can actually succeed in football management remains to be seen. Personally I think Brum have made a mistake.
I'd rather he didn't sniff around at the likes of Bird and Cashin personally.

I hope Rooney does well, because I will always be grateful for the quiet dignity he displayed in leading our players and club through some very difficult times.
I don't think he was the best manager then, but he has now completed all his training and has had a time to reflect on how he wants to set up a team to play the sort of football he wants. I will be interested to see what that looks like away from Rosenior, and whether he will become a good manager.
On Cashin, if he goes it will be because our Club thinks it's a good move for us financially, not because Cashin is keen to go. He isn't.

Not bothered either way about Rooney going to Birmingham. Regards him stripping the club of our best players, if true i wouldnt be happy, unless hes gonna give us top dollar.
I actually think Brum have dropped a bo--ock other than the added publicity and increased sponsorship, Eustace left them in 6th place, a play off position, be interesting to see if they are still in the play offs come the summer?
Personally i am not convinced hes gonna become a top manager, he failed in the US! Regards his time at Derby, because of the circumstances he was never under any pressure and as others have said he undermined Cocu. I wasnt bothered when he left (we couldnt afford him for one) although i have got to say he handled himself unbelievably well during our relegation season never moaning about anything or anyone. As a supporter i loved that season, with the atmosphere and togetherness as a club as good as its ever been. I wish him well in his new venture.

Thank you, Owen. It means a lot to those of us who were there.

And to echo @Brailsford Ram's question, will we be doing something at our next home match?

Football of the highest order played without fear. The play ran like a river, eddying and flowing with graceful purpose sweeping all before it, on famous mud. We’ll never see it repeated. An afternoon of beacon-like light in the dimness of the industrial and Smokey chimneys of the 70’s.

We were lucky to have him for the last 2 years of his wonderful career. I remember when he signed for us, he said that he didn't need the money as he was already rich through his business, he just wanted to play football in that great side in the 70's.
Never mind looking 'at the smile on his face', he put a great big smile on my face and that of 1000's of other Rams fans, RIP Franny.
