Indyram reacted to Carl Sagan in Rams vs Reading Matchday Thread
Awful awful officials. They have to get those decisions right. But we stood strong despite that and should have scored more anyway. But we are so solid. We have the second best defence in the division, having conceded one more than Bournemouth.
Brilliant from Allsop coming in who did everything asked of him.
Brilliant from Stearman ditto, especially having been booked really early on.
We are already on plus points despite a 12 point deduction. That was so important. We'd be 11th without the deduction.
Come on you Rams!

You know how dreadful the ref has been when he gets booed off even when we won.
I normally am quite fair and believe that things even out but that was beyond inept.

Unbelievable. Every tiny bit of contact they get free kick.

Ref is giving them everything and us absolutely nothing. It's perverse. They fall over and it's a foul. We're manhandled off the ball and he waves play on.

Indyram reacted to Ewe Ram in Sky Commentary
I’m female and I absolutely hate women commentators. They are clearly there to tick boxes because they aren’t any good. While we’re at it I can’t be doing with the Sky tottie either, just there to be pleasing on the eye. Alex Scott is everywhere and I don’t know why. Just give the job to those who are best at it.

I'm just heading for the train now, see you all later. I wouldn't be going if it wasn't for the efforts of Sage. COYR.

Got tickets for me and missus, first mid-week League game we've been to since Nigel Clough's days!

Indyram reacted to Reggie Greenwood in Steve McClaren
2015 we were decimated by injuries to Martin , Thorne , Eustace and virtually the whole midfield at the crunch end of the season. If they had stayed fit in my opinion we would have gone up.

Indyram reacted to RoyMac5 in Steve McClaren
Lol. Mac2 wasn't gonna come back and say 'you know what I was right and just why did Mel sack me'?! ? I think there was also some 'apologising' done by Mel at the same time.

Indyram reacted to Curtains in Steve McClaren
Not Steve’s fault at all.
I remember the. fans forum at Telegraph pub in Derby I think it was with Simmo ,Steely and Steve just after he took over from Nigel and fans welcomed them.
Nigel had a difficult task at Derby with finances and rebuilding the team after was it the 11 point season !
He did a great job but his football wasn’t always respected by fans but he had a great record against Forest and Leeds.
He would argue he was still in the building stage when Mac arrived.
Im waffling .
But as I say Steve is helping Derby now IMO in difficult times for the club

Indyram reacted to angieram in Steve McClaren
That's not true. He kept saying it, I was at a fans forum where he said it very clearly and it was totally mis-reported by Radio Derby.
You seem to have something against him but I always felt like he was a decent guy who had the interests of the club at heart. His recent actions appear to back that up.

Unfortunately we don’t always know the facts and we get preconceived ideas about Mac.
He did get sidetracked by the Newcastle thing as did Lampard about Chelsea but at the end of the day Steve has been more loyal than Frank IMO .
Nigel obviously felt pushed out by Derby when he was building a good team but Mac created something special with mostly Nigels players.
In retrospect NC did a great job at Derby .
Football clubs all have history that’s often forgotten in the present.
Fans can be fickle including myself but that’s football.
Look how many love Rooney now !

I am both older and a woman and rate Steve McClaren, gave us great football, genuine guy.
Thought he was harshly treated by the Derby fans over the Newcastle saga.
Got best win percentage of any recent manager and his team played the most attractive football I have seen since the 70s.

Well done Steve you have really gone up in my estimation doing this .
Thanks for being there for us.

Indyram reacted to Alph in Steve McClaren
His last stint was when he took over from Nigel Pearson when we were the lowest scorers in England and Scotland.
The Reading loss was the season after we set several club records. Yeah the season ended badly but still was in the Play Offs until the last day.
I'm assuming you're saying Nigel was a terrible manager then if he had a great team and couldn't get us to win more than we lost in a season?
He didn't leave to go to Newcastle. He said he was going to stay and then was sacked. Then went to Newcastle.
Unlike some other managers who did jump ship at the first chance. Or a manager that knew he was jumping ship at the first chance but didn't have the decency to tell us before Pre Season and all our players were flying to America.

Indyram reacted to angieram in Mel Morris fan club
I don't think it was any gamble at all, based on how much we'd have sold him to a Prem club for if he'd kept fit and we didn't go up. We knew how good he was, we'd already tried before we buyed!
He was a classy player, really breaks my heart that injuries did for him so young. And that's no-one's fault, before you all start @ing me!

So there are such things as loyalty, generosity and sentimentality in today’s game.
And the Rams need all they can get.
Thank you Mr McC!

Indyram reacted to angieram in whats going on with Bobby Duncan?
Tend to disagree about the academy scouting - Bogle, Ebosele, Knight Watson, Hutchinson are big success stories. We have other youngsters not yet quite ready but looking good.
I think Bobby Duncan's situation is an exception.
Maybe it is the 'big names' we shouldn't be signing?

Indyram reacted to angieram in Adventures of Sloth, Jon Moss and their band of Merry men.
I have a lot of respect for the way that our players turned up on the pitch yesterday after Friday's devastating news and played their hearts out for the club not knowing when or if they'll get paid again.
I have very little respect for a team whose players suddenly remembered how to play football now they've got their own way and their manager sacked.

Indyram reacted to B4ev6is in To billy sharp from accepted our apologies
From all Derby fans that we are sorry what was sung to you yesterday unfortunately some people drank to much and lost all scences but does not excuse it what so ever. And if that has upset your family it is same here or sheffield untied support please do not judge all Derby fans with same brush.
