sage got a reaction from jimtastic56 in Come January where would you strengthen and who would you go for?
I don't think we need to sign 2 CBs in January. Maybe 1 then another in the summer.
A mobile, strong CF and a hard working wide forward are the priorities
A GK who can come out and claim crosses would be good in the summer

Even when you start a post saying 'i'm not blaming the fans' you get accused of blaming fans. More strawmen than the Wizard of Oz auditions.

I wouldn't say we were to blame, but there was a lot of moanijnv during the Glick/Clough years about lack of investment and there weren't too many fans moaning about how much we were spending in the Clement and Pearson eras

I would agree to an extent. I think trying to get short haul passengers onto trains is part of the solution, but deforestation and coal use are the 2 biggest issues by far. The problems with some of the technology solutions is affordability for the poorer countries in the world, not that we shouldn't be looking to make this part of the solutions.

In the long run, we need to make a sea change from a 'better standard of living' to a 'better quality of life' as a measure of progress.

sage reacted to Bris Vegas in Reducing Wages
If everything was about goals, then Jordan Rhodes would have made it at Manchester City while Tom Ince would have been a regular at Liverpool.
How many times do attacks break down because Tom Lawrence has picked the wrong option or had tunnel vision?
We all know he has talent. But there is a reason why he has never done it at Championship level let alone any further than that.

I like potted beef. Not those awful sandwich pastes in a bottle, but proper potted beef.
