    Ralf Rangnick Pickering?
No idea if Nick Pickering won an FA Cup, just the first 80's Nick to come to mind

I get that you would try to negotiate the best deal and brinkmanship can help but...

There are so many advantages to one of the bidders getting this done a few weeks ago...

Our chances of staying up are reducing with every player sale, that leaves a a vastly reduced income.
We are losing assets at reduced prices, therefore you are getting less for your money
Now our academy is being torn apart
Out of contract players can now sign pre contracts elsewhere
We can't protect our best young players values by extending contracts
You would have had a better chance of not being beaten to it by another bidder
The club's name being dragged through the mud a little less
    Better reception from the supporters

So it begs the question...why? What are they hoping to gain? and is it worth it?

I thought it was that they had met the required standards in that they were "audited" and that audit would confirm among other things that the accounts had been prepared in accordance with frs102.
Clearly, in common with general lack of understanding, the EFL do not know the purpose of an audit, nor of the room for varying interpretations within the boundaries of frs102.
    Utterly incompetent rule setting.

    When you're tired and weary,
Your heart will skip a beat,
You'll get your funking head messed up,
When you read a Nixon tweet.
    But on streets of Teeside,
    They'll hear a mighty roar,
Eff off you pube haired barsteward,
    We are the Derby boys.
