Donnyram reacted to Caerphilly Ram in Paul Warne Pre-Season Interview
That’s a bad take. Let’s look at what was actually said rather than another heavily opinionated assumption
    Wanted:
“We need the players that can play in the league above and have got a bit of experience
I want the players that will make big sacrifices and are fully determined for success.
We need players that are prepared to learn and believe in the team more than themselves.
They have to be good footballers, good athletes and they have to buy into the way we play, the way we press and the energy we want from a team.
Also and this is a lot different to a lot of teams in our league - they have to be able to play in front of 30,000 people.
It's a psychology more than a physicality for me. I'm not here to break players but I am here to push boundaries and to try and get more out of the team.
We're trying to make them physically resilient for a 10 month season but a lot of that comes from mentality.
From that, hopefully you can build a squad and a team that are exciting to watch.”
    Ignore how Warne says things and look at what he’s actually saying, he wants hard working and capable footballers who know what it means to play for this club and will put the team effort above themselves, what about that is such a bad thing?! From those quotes I’d say it’s more like;
Wanted - football players with the ability and mentality to play for a well supported club planning to push for promotion. Must understand this is a team sport and all members of the squad will play a part in shared success. The plan is that the team will play with a high press, which means physicality and athleticism will be part of our identity as will playing an exciting brand of football. Ability to put up with manager’s rubbish jokes and constant pestering are an added desirable requirement.

I know some people don’t want to see long ball and play from the back but I hope we’re going to get the ball forward a bit quicker than that!!

Donnyram reacted to Caerphilly Ram in Haydon Roberts - signed for Bristol City
The posts of some people on this board don’t automatically equate to “the majority”. I for one would like to sign Roberts on a free and retain Sibley, Knight and Bird if feasible. I also accept that players will inevitably move on and if one, two or all of those 3 do leave we’ll have new players to support in their stead.
Roberts as a player has attributes we need in the squad, can cover a couple of positions, is young and has potential, signing him on a free would represent sensible business. I also think as it looks to be another summer of high numbers joining the squad, signing Roberts negates some of the settling in period other recruits may need as he’s just spent a year here.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Liam tried to get him at Hull - he knew him from his Brighton days and was a big reason why he came to Derby on loan.  That said, he clearly enjoyed his time at Derby and seemed settled so fingers crossed he makes the right choice!

Now this is a game I can get behind...
    Who's likely to go where.
Fozzy - run of the mill, never one to be extravagant. Likely goes to see family and takes a stroll instead of a beach, he is Scottish afterall and his complexion can't cope.
Cashin - Seen the Inbetweeners film? Cash is at that hotel right now.
Didzy - Flambuoyant, bit of a maverick. Bali.
Jason Knight - Dublin. Back home.
James Collins - Great Yarmouth. Not what it once was, rough around the edges. Promises so much, but takes forever to get there.
Wildsmith - Costa Del Sol. Familiar and reliable when you give it a chance.

Should hope they don't pleasure themselves at a beach. That'd be worse than Joinersgate.

Donnyram got a reaction from 48 hours in Genuine question. Am I being a prude???
Outside the South Stand I think the vast majority of people are generally considerate to the areas that they are sat.  However, there are individuals who have zero consideration and respect - they feel it is their right to swear as much is they like because “it’s the Derby game, init”.
Now I’m no prude and have spent many a day on the Popside and travelling to away games but I’d rather not have someone sat right behind me effing and jeffin abuse at all and sundry. (This is different to a few songs with choice words included).  When this then becomes you effing Cnut yawped into my sensitive luggholes then it becomes a bit much.
We’ve now moved from seats we’ve had for 10 years as a result.
I wouldn’t take young children to the match until they had understood what is acceptable language “for them to use” in public.  They will hear it at school etc. but not within the boundaries of my home.  They will no doubt use this language with mates but NOT in front of Grandmas and young children in public

I think you have a right to expect anyone sitting in the designated family area to watch their language and, if they ignore requests to stop, perfectly entitled to report them. You're going to get audible swearing from adjacent sections and most certainly all round the stadium for certain songs, but that's different to having someone nearby using the worst swearwords aggressively and persistently. Everyone should be cut some slack at particularly tense moments, but that's all imo.
