Kirchner may or may not pull it out of the fire. I doubt it, but like everyone else on here, I've nothing substantive to go on.
If he doesn't, and Mike Ashley steps in, with or without a 15 point deduction, I welcome him with open arms. Anyone virtue signalling about not going to games if he's in charge needs to give their head a wobble. He's a businessman in retail, possibly the most savage sector there is, and he's amazingly good at it. He's not trying to win popularity contests in his professional life.
How do you think he stacks up in the morality stakes of owners in the 92? Mid-table? Certainly more reputable than they've got down the road, or at his old club, or Man City, or (depending on your point of view) at Stoke. The list goes on.
You'd rather we went under? Well you can foxtrot oscar.

Pure guesswork on my part, but maybe MA was looking to step in at the end of the original exclusivity period as he didn’t believe CK would be able to complete the deal. Q have continued to extend the preferred bidder status despite there being more than a few concerns about CK completing the deal. It now seems that MA has gone back to Q again following the Bank Holiday fiasco but they still won’t talk to him so he’s pushed out the story that things are looking bleak in the hope of forcing Qs hand….. and if reports are to be believed it seems to have worked.
Q will be reluctant to drop CK as he offers the best deal for the creditors (which they are obliged to ensure), but if he ain’t got the money, then the choice is less money via MA or Appleby or no money at all via liquidation…..

What an absolute bell-end this bloke is - either Kirchner knows it's going to collapse, in which case he can't/won't do anything, or else he's waiting on someone (probably the financial authorities) to give him the o.k.
Does this so-called journo expect him to sit at his desk fretting and making phone-calls all day? This type of crap is why people no longer have any respect for the click-bait merchants...

Folk need to remember Dawes is foremost a fan - and he's historically not had an inside line from the club. He may have heard something, but equally, he may have read twitter and this board, heard there was an issue with the wage payment and jumped on the "we're all doomed" bandwagon. He's not a news journalist and I'm afraid the BBC stopped being a trusted source of news many years ago - I'd suggest taking his 'report' as an opinion piece rather than factual and wiat for CK or Q to put something out. The one thing Dawes has done is pushed them into a corner where they need to respond....

Imagine if KIrchener buys the club today and bans Dawes from the ground.
We have a buyer and we don't have to listen to his appalling commentary ever again.
It would be a win win

I’m not so sure. By all means report doubts from sources, or disturbing rumours but the wording is inflammatory and typical of Ed. It’s shock horror attention grabbing. I respect his fan like enthusiasm and knowledge of the club, but I have never liked his tone and delivery. It’s always seemed to me to be bratty and sensationalised.

Unless, of course, there are questions regarding where the money originated from. Because CK has been a little vague regarding his actual wealth, we still don't know if he is financing this entirely from his own pocket - if not, that may raise a red flag with the authorities....
