FindernRam reacted to Blondest Goat in CORNERS
I'm sure there were plenty of times last season when we went back to the keeper within 5 passes following a corner.

FindernRam got a reaction from Elwood P Dowd in Matchday Thread - Charlton Athletic v Derby County (06/08 15:00)
So how does it work?
Apart from individual physiological weakness' like Michael Owen's hamstring, there is a general rule of thumb: Young heal quicker than old.
Old has an advantage (in some cases) like knowing how to avoid injury, but that means pulling out of risky situations. So you have one or two old heads and a lot of youngsters.
Dave MacKay always said he knew where to stand and let the youngsters put the yards in!

FindernRam got a reaction from Boycie in Things that annoy me that should annoy me
My car tells me that in 14000 miles, auto stop has saved me approximately 51.1 miles of fuel or emissions. So for this monumental saving I have been lugging around a huge, heavy, battery, beefed up starter motor, starter ring on the engine, larger generator and more complex electronics. I am dubious that it is actually saving anything.

FindernRam got a reaction from GB SPORTS in Things that annoy me that should annoy me
The role and its supporting cast will create policies, audits to check those policies are being implemented, tick boxes galore, meetings. This will create more posts to answer the plethora of stuff that will arise. All of which is diverting resource from doing the prime job.
A good friend at Boeing had a plaque on his office wall that stated " It is the duty of every manager to fight bureaucracy wherever it raises its ugly head!"

FindernRam got a reaction from Indyram in Things that annoy me that should annoy me
From my increasingly frequent use of the NHS I can state that diversity is not an issue.
The post advertised cost is just the tip of the iceberg here. By time you add up all the other costs, office ,desk, computer etc ,you will almost treble that cost. Then there will be a secretary and her costs. Probably also an assistant Director or two. Then the liaison team to link all the NHS Trusts and their teams.

BBC overstaffing.
Using an outside reporter to introduce a report by someone else. Andy Swiss travels the world but only talks for about 20 seconds at a time. What's wrong with the army of commentators also out there? Same with news reports.
At the Lioness game there were at least 9 women involved not including the commentators, all of them quite screechy. Pre-match, half time pundits and post match waffle. Muted them till match started.

FindernRam got a reaction from Carl Sagan in Crystal Ball predictions
My favourite (statistically based) prediction site fivethiirtyeight.com has just released their first run at the league table for the upcoming season.
They have Derby to finish as winners with 89 points 4 clear of Sheff and Ipswich in third. I knew there was a reason I liked this site.
Even better, Middleborough fail again and Wycombe come nowhere.
Even more better (grammar Timothy) Forest to finish bottom of Premier

No one! we will all get behind whoever Rosenior picks. Then at Christmas if its going badly we will blame his mother for her recruitment policies.
