Don’t want to be damning with faint praise because that was a markedly better performance than many this season. We seemed to be coherent, attacking and defending as a unit and players were doing their individual jobs well. 
but Exeter were pap.
we should be putting a sword to teams like that. Glad we did.
Under the circumstances that was 2 feet in the right direction. Just need to maintain that now and we’ll be happier fans and picking up points. 

On the flip side for balance…can we afford to not get rid of him?
Say attendances drop 3,000 per game (which is not unrealistic at all and probably at the lower end), that’s potentially £75,000 per home match down on income.
Also add in player values…is Cashin still worth millions in January? If we don’t have an offer would he resign for us under Warne? Would any of our players want to stay under Warne and would any new players look at Derby in January/the summer and want to come and play this football?
If it is £1m to get rid then considering the above it would be a bargain at the minute. 

What absolute bull...
People will accept a defeat if the level of performance in good enough. It isn't, and hasn't been often enough this season. Hence, why people are fed up with what we're being given.

Exactly, this season feels like the last season that we will think our squad is capable of promotion. Next year if we’re still in this league it will be weaker without a doubt.

It’s surprising how much a change of coaching can change players overnight. Confidence and belief is a huge part of football and at the minute we have neither.
My biggest fear is that we continue this way, lose the actual talented players in our team and then have a team of players who are average League 1 players at best.
