Absolutely correct - the club going bust before a deal was done at the very last minute back in the 70s/80s was not a good situation.
in terms of next season I am optimistic that the youngsters can and will kick on and with a few loan reinforcements and a few free transfers we should do ok, centre half’s and centre forwards are our main focus and current concerns

Not only did they smash the FFP out of the ball park the EFL sanctioned massive spending on transfers whilst if my memory is correct they allowed a player to play for them when his registration was rather dodgy at a vital time of the season.  Bournemouth quietly went along busting the FFP the same season if I remember correctly ? Yes we said nothing didn’t threaten to sue anyone and the EFL was happy to ignore for as long as they could so that it didn’t alter any league placings.

And let’s remember that football clubs up and down the country will still be having to test their players regularly and clubs like Rotherham will still have a whole squad self isolating and fixtures will be cancelled at short notice and that will again mess up the whole league system.
obvious exception for Scottish players who don’t go near anyone else in positive infection cases ?

From the EFL rule book. I await the EFLs action against Wycombe for their remarks today. (I won't hold me breath)

Bigger issue would be the youngsters wanting to leave to go anywhere because without them we have nothing

Well I wasn’t looking forward to the next season for various reasons but today’s nonsense from the EFL has really got my passion back so I will be looking forward to every single point we can achieve and up you EFL 
our youngsters will never be more important than this season so let’s back them and not complain about anybody connected to the club and let all those outside of the club keep conspiring against us whilst we give them a kick in the never regions
