We do seem to get a lot of big contentious decisions going against us and have done for a while it seems
if you just look at recent games Plymouth away - blatant dive/cheating - ref looking straight at it - ipswich- goal scored ruled out for a foul on the goalkeeper where no one is near him.
we have had a lot of extremely harsh penalties given against us this season (mainly dives) whilst we have hardly had any penalties given to us despite being fairly stonewalled
Morecambe should put an official complaint why we were awarded 4 penalties against them because the referees refused them against everyone else.

He’ll be back at Wycombe soon enough

The woodwork is often their best defender. It’s incredible how many times it has saved them this season.
The dropped points will hurt them though. Leeds away up next. Lose that and they are bang in trouble with West Ham at home to Southampton tomorrow and Leicester at home to Bournemouth next weekend.
Leeds are bang in trouble as well as they are losing decent players to injury unlike Forest who don’t know who is a decent player is even if they weren’t mostly feigning injuries.

Another question for the ref, why did we have to wait for the 3 minutes of Ipswich goal celebrations for the second goal and wait for every player, including one who must have gone for a comfort break in the north stand toilets, before allowing us to make our last 2 substitutions? Normally, the subs quickly come on whilst the celebrations continue and unnoticed by the crowd.
I think that something needs to be done about these 'tactical' injuries, it's becoming a regular occurance throughout football, including Derby. Maybe, both teams outfield players need to be sent to the centre circle whilst a player receives attention? No chance for a manager to give a team talk and any captain's team talk will be overheard by the opposition.
Yes this is driving me nuts - the referee should just blow the whistle to carry on, if all the opposition players have left the pitch it’s their choice - I don’t pay money to watch an empty football pitch because the time is simply never added on.
-
If they carry on at this rate they will start getting more support in the premiership than we get in the third division - but not yet !

4th loss in 5 games for a Derby County side playing in the third tier of English football.
Arguably one of the most embarrassing months in this club’s history. I’m sure it’s the first time in our history we’ve lost three times in a row at this level.
Team needs to f****** sort their s*** out and pronto. I’m not going into individuals but I wouldn’t be sad to see the back of anyone in this side. They’ve got it all on to avoid being recorded as the worst Derby County side in history at this rate.
Well over the top there - go and have a pint or two
-
Wildsmith - doesn’t look overly confident of late
Rooney - did ok
Cashin - lucky to still be selected every week because he is making to many mistakes as well as being bossed today by the centre forward
Forsyth - tends to be trying to do everyone’s jobs
mendiz - doesn’t like playing wing back
Roberts - did ok
Bird - didn’t do a lot
smith - did ok
Knight - you tell he played vs France this week
Collins - nothing worth mentioning
McGoldrick - played well but missed a sitter
subs - they don’t improve us do they !
-
Can’t blame the ref for the linesman getting it wrong and apologising
-
Disappointing result again today but a strange game, obviously we were disjointed following the change in formation for the first 20 mins or so but we simply have to score our chances - or at least be allowed to.
McGoldrick missed a golden chance
Knight wasn’t he brought down for a penalty in the first half ?
whilst the disallowed goal is ruled out with yet another official apologise for the wrong decisionthe obvious moan again is the ridiculous amount of time wasting in this league - it’s beyond a joke week in week out
ipswich we’re functional and being able to bring in four experienced players in January showed compared to the couple of YTS lads we were allowed to bring in to the smallest squad in the league.

A lot of the players in League 1 are only earning £2k a week. If we can pay several players £10k-£12k a week , we must stand a chance of getting the better players , especially if we can get Beilik’s wages sorted for his last year.
His agent might have been one that we needed to pay to get him moved to Birmingham to save some wages - who knows

The Ipswich performance is impressively on the rise at the moment whereas ours is not. I think that the odds are against us winning this match against formidable opponents. However, I really hope that there are no boos for this team. I think that considering the past 12 months we are doing ok.
It will be a huge boost to our team if they can get 3 points out of this game, but I doubt we can beat the current odds.
However, it's such a fickle game that anything is possible. COYR! 🐏.
Hope you can give them a bloody nose tomorrow (metaphorically of course) but if not there will be no boos from me, ever. (How can supporting a team and booing a performance ever go hand in hand?) Just withdraw the applause if you think they have not put in 100% effort.🐏🐏
I never boo and I never consider any opponent as formidable especially in the third division - I fully expect us to win this game

Scrolling through Twitter, came across a club that had spent £201 for every £100 revenue and total losses now over £248m, scrolled up a little further and saw it was that tin pot outfit down the A52.
Most of that was for the VAR team of officials at Wembley though based on what the whole world saw.

Financial results ( made up) are out - they were in for a big time trouble - lots for the finance folks to mull over and how the lying and cheating took place

Can’t we sign some of the out of contract ones from championship clubs as they might be better players?

Time for Warne and the squad to prove we can do it against the better teams. We need a statement result, and a win at home against one of the best in the league in front of a big crowd could be the turning point that fires us into the playoffs on a wave of confidence.
I haven’t seen a good team yet in this league

Like us being mocked when we were only getting 11 points and you were in League 1, make your mind up
I never even considered being mocked for only getting 11 points which wasn’t too bad considered as we had Billy Davies and Paul Jewel and only wasted £11 million in transfer fees - besides the ones who should have been mocked was Newcastle and Fulham

Chester had 45 mins on Monday 20th against Stoke, then Friday 24th had approx 60 mins against Middlesboro for the U21s. I would not be surprised if he made the bench on Saturday.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in a 3 man defence so that Warne gets two up front - I think he hinted at maybe a formation change after Saturday

Ive been waiting 20 years to see Derby v exeter in a league game at St James Park. City have just hit some form as well, it's gonna be a close one
Not the way we have not been scoring

I really like knight - he either signs for longer than the extension or I suspect he will absolutely be sold to raise funds this summer - we do have bills to pay even before we start considering signing players
-
Serial Whingers Notts Forest playtime, which we simply cannot accept.
