  1. I am not a fan of playing 3 centre half’s because it usually means your defenders can’t defend properly

I am not a fan of playing wingbacks - yes Ebosele could have done it and probably Buchanan as well but they have left whilst mendiz Lang and Barkhauzen openly stated that they left their previous clubs because they hated playing in those positions

I am not a fan of having 5 substitutes because they simply unhinge the side on the pitch

i am not a fan of never leaving one or two players up from corners - the opposing team have to leave 2-3 players back and why have some useless ones at heading the ball in our own penalty area because they just lose their man.

I am a fan of 442 with strong players who can last a full match - we play with far to many whimps on the pitch at the same time

Don’t make me laugh. The restrictions which allowed us to sign the likes of McGoldrick and Hourihane? Most clubs in the league would kill to have our squad. It’s capable of so much more than this.

Those two you mentioned signed because they didn’t have to move house and we’re always going to be selected each week which they simply weren’t being selected for the last two seasons, They want to play and play in front of a decent crowd so for them they wouldn’t have been signing for any others in this league I would suggest

Don’t say that, the happy clappers will be right on you. Warne is God and you must trust in him.

I am not aware of any happy clappers but there are a lot of realistic supporters who know the restrictions we are working under and the manager is trying to get them performing to a decent level despite some obvious flaws in the playing staff’s abilities who were cobbled together to just field a side most weeks unlike all the other clubs in the league.

Great to see that even with Peter-“much easier run in than Derby”-borough dropping points the usual doom mongers can’t see any hope. Give yourselves a bit of peace and think positively for a change folks!

Absolutely - local Derby for them today against a relegation threatened side, = very dangerous game

Every week we do the same, hoping for a different result. I so very much hope I'm wrong, but I don't see the Rams scoring with this line up. We're running out of chances. Maybe this will be a game when it clicks? We need it to click.

We are not filled with a massive amount of choice - Sibley being the one most likely to score out of the subs whilst Dobbin could have had us promoted if he put away half his chances but he hasn’t.

If Knight has an option I expect it's taken up by the club.  The other 2 will be offered a further year.   I expect McGoldrick to get a better one year offer money wise, based on his goals and assists, from lower to mid table Championship clubs as he will be a useful squad addition and they won't need to play him every week.

The Knight extension would be taken up and if he shows no inclination to stay longer we would definitely accept any decent offer in the summer transfer window but that would depend on who he chose to play for. My gut feeling is that he would wait until his contract expired before he moved on.

Sadly, man utd have picked up a few injuries and now their Euro tie is delicately poised may decide they can take a chance against forest with a weaker team

I can see another scabby 1-0 to the home team a la Liverpool, with about 18% possession and 1 attempt on goal ...🙄

They have been incredible at getting a result whilst being dreadful with the help of opponents hitting the woodwork missing penalties missing open goals etc whilst scoring a goal off a knee without even shooting, I think the World Cup break helped them massively in being able to try and organise a complete defence which worked for a while whilst a lot of the opposition returned from the World Cup rather unorganised or rested.

Suspended for 8 months, I wonder how many CEOs they're likely to appoint in the next 8 months? It seems to be a totally pointless 'punishment', literally.

The EFL get £50,000 for their Christmas bash and travel expenses which can’t be overlooked

This is a similar charge that has been directed at Birmingham, which would suggest a similar 'punishment'.

As regards as having no advantage on the pitch, surely his decisions do affect what goes on throughout the club including what happens on the pitch?

The Birmingham judgement will be very interesting as those other people involved (against the rules) put money in which clearly helped them fund debts and wages a good example of that is the money for the Belick loan which has clearly helped them avoid relegation.

Isn't the main thing that we saw the rules being applied rigorously to us last season, as suich you would expect all breaches to be punished immediately.

Seems to me that we are the only club where the punishment is immediate, I mean we were within the rules until they were changed retroactively.

Was also amused to see that QPR are still paying off their FFP fine now.

Maybe I'm wrong, but seems that we had everything at once, even had to own the stadium, not apply for Covid loan etc, whereas other clubs breaking a rule get a suspended and a paltry fine.

A heavily reduced QPR fine !

  11. They don’t even bother to hold their heads in this league they just sit down and wait for the referee to blow their whistle and everybody else leaves the football pitch for a lovely chat.

Against Ipswich it was hilarious we had a period in the game where Ipswich were second best and their manager shouted for one of them to hit the deck and instantly two of them followed the order (and the nearest) and dropped like flies - the Referees know what is happening and they should just let the game play on but they haven’t got the bottle to play on - players know when someone is properly injured or not.
