Has the fat Greek bloke sacked the manager yet - I mean persuaded someone else to take it on or are they reading the player list and wondering who they all are ?

Thinking about lack of goals, why did Barkhuizen disappear after going on a 'scoring run', Sibley too (although not a 'run' as such!). The 'strikers' need help from midfield and not many are showing, but when they do...?
Yep I have mentioned a few times - get your goal scorers on the pitch from as many positions as possible - for us that’s McGoldrick mendiz Lang Barkhauzen Sibley Hourihane - collins when no McGoldrick
If Dobbin had put away half his chances we would be challenging top two

Warne is working with the muddle of players we had
the choices include players like Stearman who clearly struggles and is effectively retired - Chester who has been injured for about 6 years - Davies who needs a long run of games to get going but hasn’t had them. We have a unbalanced midfield with Bird and Hourihane in the starting X1 when we need a couple of scrappers in there. Our forward choices are McGoldrick who is a great footballer but he is 35 and Collins who runs around and gestures a lot without being close to shooting at goal.
We have taken on other teams YTS youngsters in desperation and optimism
Roberts - he’s done well - not the best defender not the best attacker but promising
Osula - didn’t do much for such a physical presence - needed the football in front of him to run after and as soon as Sheffield United were going into a transfer Embargo he was going back there in January
Dobbin - could turn into a good player but usually misses a golden chance in most games consistently- take them and a different player.
Spingett - he’s not shown anything other than being a body around place
White - bits of promise but in league one from central midfield we need a hell of a lot more.
Full backs - well we haven’t had any playing at full back just some lads doing a job and covering what we are missing
Whos been unlucky not to have played a lot more - Rooney - ( he has pace and bite) Tompson - his lack of height must be the reason he has missed out so much or it’s a case of who can’t be dropped.
Anyway Warne or anybody else can only work with what we have
we are still 6th which is pretty good considering 👍

He is doing ok, his size will work against him as will his lack of pace against the quick good ones - if he could score 6-7 a season he would improve his overall benefit to us.

Why has our striker stopped scoring goals?
He spends more time blocking a clearance near the corner flag which is lovely but it doesn’t score goals because he is nowhere near a shooting position.

Yesterday from 70 mins the ball was in play a lower % of the time than that, that I find extremely frustrating when we are chasing games but I suppose that is the whole idea as it shows on the players too.
60 mins of ball in play time would make sense. Teams under the cosh will still go down with 'injuries' to try and break the momentum of the opposition, and I'm sure other tactics would emerge. Would be interesting to watch a trial game of this though.
If it’s 60 mins of actual play then I want a third of my money back because I pay to watch 90 mins minimum of actual football - players can be paid a third less as well

The season starts to get interesting from now on then folks 👍

Well that’s disappointing

This is the third division - I don’t fear any team go win Derby

Definitely a game not to miss Jason knight but we are where we are

Rams 3-2 frgs mendiz Lang

The whole performance around Wigan has to be hugely embarrassing for the EFL with them being on a finance plan following administration just like we are and it will probably mean the EFL are less likely to be helpful towards ourselves.

So which Wigan talents are we going to snatch for free? Seems to be the way the football family works...
I truly feel sorry for them...a horrible situation to be in.
Yet that’s the ball park we are playing in

We are on the good boy step unlike half the championship!

Just cancelled the two nights I had booked in London and rebooked the Sunday and Monday - extra £100 - duck the EFL
Got more annoyed and cancelled the rebooked two nights
rebooked further west of central London and saved £200 - still duck the EFL
Maybe we will get to Wembley - anyway duck the EFL
-
Extremely unlucky with the lack game time this season and I only assume that is based on us having more high profile players in midfield and a lack of height in league one
-
Possibly more deductions for them as well looking at those charges?
Must be due for Reading to get theirs as well ( can we sue them or the EFL)

The demand for away tickets is definitely dropping off. I've reached the 10+ category for next season but we've had home seats at Burton, Cheltenham, Wycombe and Oxford. I bought Peterborough in the home end five weeks ago, Forest Green last week and today Bristol Rovers. Only Exeter and Sheffield Wednesday to sort now.
If the team isn’t trying like Saturday you can’t expect the support to

All this let’s leave the pitch when we feel like it does me in - take yesterday they score a goal then all 10 outfield players are off the pitch by the corner flag and slowly walk back usually that’s a 3 minute episode if they hurry - the referee should let the other team kick off and attack when they are ready and that will sort that out very quickly.
Also all this lets feign injury so a physio comes on and everyone leaves the pitch - referee should just whistle to kick off again, not his problem if a team is absent.I go to football to be entertained for 90 minutes so yes have a clock and stop the clock when the ball is out of play - I actually heard this discussed on TV and one ex player said that you would have to have it set for 60 minutes then - great give me a third of the players wages back as my season ticket is automatically reduced by a third, I think he was missing the point.

Rooney. Chester. Forsyth. Roberts
Smith. Hourihane
mendiz. Sibley Barkhauzen
McGoldrickBird is not fit enough and I don’t think we should play with both him and hourihane and Hourihane simply scores and assists a lot more and we need to score goals. - Rooney has pace which we need whilst Cashin is making far too many mistakes defensively- yes we will miss Knight and I would always play him - our subs rarely improve us so our best has to start.
