Football has change a lot in recent seasons. The traditional number 10 is being given way to a higher press.
Teams are fitter. There are less gaps.
Slow build-ups are easy to defend against. The Martin-Bryson type combo isn’t as effective.
I think we will see in League One many direct teams who play second ball football. Lots of harrying, rushing.
To deal with that we will need to move the ball quickly. Especially away from home.

The press is there to be broken. That I imagine is what we are trying to achieve. It needs good energetic midfielders who can move the ball forward between the lines. Our midfield against Stevenage was hopeless. Its not the system.

This misunderstands and therefore misrepresents what depression is. It's not being a bit sad that your manager doesn't rate you as highly as someone else.

Someone suffer with mental health issues need great support around them some  nasty things could tip them over the edge to the point that person could end own life.

Nice way to trivialize what could be genuine mental health issues. MH defies logic and reason, if you've no experience then you shouldn't be talking.

Never met the guy, dont know what he's gone through in life so hard for me to form a judgement. It would be nice if he got back on track for both parties. I assume the major critics in here are perfect human beings.

Or they have used up the wages on those 2 ? I doubt we will ever know. 
If the lads head is in the right place ability wise would be a good signing for L1 

If you're referring to the Joiners incident, unlikely as he wasn't here at the time.
If you're referring to Bitcoin, that probably wasn't his fault either.

Sometimes what that person does is a cry out for help.

You’re having to make up possible situations to defend a guy ditching us in one of our darkest times. I can criticise him because he has done this - there’s no speculation. He literally used a loophole to tear up his contract with us. 
 
On the other hand Bobby Duncan just isn’t being played… 

You obviously have far greater knowledge than I about the lad, doesn't really change my point though, the reasons he acted like you believe he has done can be many and varied and I would argue that he is somewhat damaged, or struggling, to act in the way you describe in the first place.
He's hurting himself by his actions.

If he struggling mental illness the last thing he needs people abusing him he needs support around I would like to see what he can do.
Even if it is under 21 to start him off slowly and build him to a point were he can maybe break into the first team player.

some of the comments on here are out of order , nobody knows the truth about Bobby Duncan , but if he is struggling with issues in his life then i for one send him my best wishes and support for a speedy recovery , then hopefully he can pull on a Rams shirt and show us what he can do

When we talk about mental health, far too often keep a narrow view in terms of depression/anxiety. There are lots of forms of depression and anxiety, lots of trigger points, and lots of ways it may manifest itself in behaviours. A very common one is a theme of self-sabotage, which this lad has a history of. There are also many other mental health problems a person can suffer beyond depression, with varying degrees of severity, which a footballer is just as likely to suffer as any other human being on the planet.
Most importantly though, the question of how all of this pertains to Bobby Duncan is something you know absolutely zero about. Stop talking.

Perhaps not. Or perhaps a narcissistic and/or delusional personality is part of a wider mental health issue triggered by issues he has which you have no knowledge of?

He might just need someone to give him a shoulder and belive in him I struggle with depression tho I don't share hoe feel bottle up but maybe Liam and older lads can help him become man he wants to be

I honestly think after reading that article, that he has transferred the money out his company "investing" account, of which he only has access.
He's got this money sitting in his account or a holding account which he has shown as proof
He's gone to transfer millions, money laundering has asked more questions, he's got cold feet as its not really his own personal wealth.
I think his crypto story is fabricated as he knows it's impossible for anyone to verify it.
 

100%. Whether out of loyalty or he felt responsible,or he just decided it was the right thing to do, he himself decided he was going to try to save the club. It was an almost impossible task and a huge burden that he willingly took upon his shoulders and I'll always respect him for that.
The will of the manager,fans, squad, coaching,staff, city, everyone last season was all essential to us being here now and whatever anyone can snip at, Rooney played more than his part.
