Thought it was a dive by Barkhuizen or at best he had little interest in anything other than drawing a foul. Stupid tackle though and once a foul was given it’s a very clear second yellow in that area of the pitch. 
Same clown who spent the entire second half hobbling around and time wasting last season until Lawrence booted him 10 feet in the air and gave him a real reason to hobble. Can’t say I was too sympathetic on either occasion.

Wildsmith 6 - couple of shaky distribution moments one of which he was put into trouble so not hugely his fault. One excellent ping out to Dobbin who didn’t get control of it. Couldn’t do anything for the goal.
Knight 8.5 - excellent and playing in a role that really suits him, more so than playing further forward on the wing. Struggle to understand the calls to get him into midfield when he is excelling where he is.
Forsyth 7.5 - always a very good outlet. Strange to have horses for courses in a full back position but the game yesterday suited him. No real slight on Roberts who will be more suited to others.
Roberts 6 - largely fine just not really his game.
Smith 7 - added impetus playing in his proper role. Hard to compare his and Bird’s performances due to the state of the game but given Rosenior something to think about.
Cashin 6.5 - not his best but fine
Stearman 6.5 - as above
Dobbin 7 - in and out the game but telling contribution at the end. Also a great cross right at the end of the first half. 
McGoldrick 7.5 - just a lovely footballer. One really neat turn on the half way line and right place at the right time for the winner.
Sibley 6.5 - pressed very well first half but not his best on the ball. Snatching at things a little but glad he is establishing himself. 
Hourihane 6 - kept things moving well at the end, good corner for Knight’s goal. 
Bird 5.5 - good enough to be dominating games but isn’t. Lost composure when they went down to 10 and lucky Stearman took a yellow card from his lax pass. 
Collins 5 - just not happening. Presses well and fine outside the box. Worry a little about his confidence, needs a goal soon.
Barkhuizen 7.5 - beat his man for fun and got their player the red, unlucky not to score a couple of times.

Pretty refreshing to play poorly and yet, against one of the best teams in the league, still be pretty decent value for a win aside from a mad 15 minutes after the red. Almost a good thing they scored as they retreated, game was managed terribly by the players at 0-0 and 11 v 10

Sibley does deserve a start, the issue I think is that starting him probably means Hourihane having to play a more withdrawn role which in turn will not get the best out of him, particularly in some of the games we will be less dominant.

Am a big believer that if you get performances right, results will follow. We’re playing well, no need whatsoever to panic.

On this subject (ish) I tend to follow Leicestershire when it comes to cricket, who were kicked out of this season’s Blast due to Naveen bowling two waist high no balls and Lilley giving a bit of chat to Jimmy Neesham.
