Wondered about that.  Bloke in the pub said he rang and asked for a ticket for a match for himself.  Got asked his fan ID but didn't have one so asked how you get a fan ID.  The reply was to buy a ticket.  Obviously couldn't get one without the fan ID.  Ended up going round in circles so he gave up.  ? ? ? 

It was my 14th birthday and the best present I had was the Rams beating Scunthorpe 4-0, On Boxing day we won 4-1 at Scunthorpe, it was a really happy Christmas for me and all Rams fans. Tomorrow wont be as happy as I am 80 so not a lot to be happy about. Just looking forward to a Wembley trip next year in the play offs. Merry Christmas RAMS fans everywhere .

I think its clear that safe standing is the way forward, so at Derby the south stand should be safe standing, and advertised as such. The away corner could then be split half standing, half sitting. Then enforce the rules, persistent standers are warned, then removed. Simple.
The current situation where persistent standing is stopping people attending an away game, is surely just a matter of observing/enforcing the rules, and a level of courtesy to others. I agree, the clubs doing nothing is really no longer an option.

If you’ve a season ticket you can buy your seat for home cup games and you’ll get priority for Wembley ( wishful thinking) so your sorted anyway. The irony is if we get a big home draw in the Cup with a big away allocation I’ll have to give up my seat in the East stand even though I’ve been to every cup game in every competition.?

Ah but , unless of course your not rich ( I’m not ) and are prepared to put money in the clubs coffers knowing you won’t really get value as there will be games you won’t / can’t get to , can see the point if we had a sell out every week and it stopped people getting a ticket but that’s not the case ,,, I reckon I’m ok to be at the front of the line for big games / Wembley ect ,, don’t have away membership and I’m ok for those that have and go more away to be in front of me in line for away games??‍♂️

I work in the rail industry and a trade union member, so I know how good the T&Cs are compared to the general public.
I would not rely on trains going to the Newport game on the Sunday as TOCs cannot guarantee where their rolling stock will be or if any staff are willing to cover staff shortages due to the rail dispute.

Sounds to me like their Union are doing a pretty good job standing up for their members, which is exactly what a Union should do - you know, sticking together for what you believe in through thick and thin...kind of thing I'd would have thought a football fan would grasp.

Actually its not the drivers who are striking - it is all the other rail workers, wo most certainly aren't on £50k! And although they haven't had a pay rise in 3 years, it is changes to their terms and conditions, which work out to a massive pay cut, that the strike action is about. Although if you want to get political, the strike has been foced by the government to bring in yet another whole raft of anti-trade union legislation. It is already easier to win a General election with a minority of the votes than it is to call industrial action.

I think that the train strike is the day before. Perhaps shouldn't have said anything as it gives me less chance of getting one. Doh!

I suppose the question is, do the vouchers get handed out, via the advertised DCFC procedure/phases, until 1,347 vouchers have been claimed, before a "No More Vouchers Available" sign goes up... or can all 4000+ members "claim a voucher", regardless of actual ticket availability?  
 
I suspect it will be a case of grab the voucher, then go IMMEDIATELY to the Torquay website to claim the ticket, and just hope you are not on the cusp of the point of sell out!
... Oh wait... you can't, as you don't get the voucher until the following morning!  Blimey... It is messy!  ?
