I think I heard Mickey mention that the SA season finishes after the County Championship starts so everyone is assuming he's lining up a South African but won't be available straight away which would put us in a similar situation as with Amir.

I often go to watch Buxton home and away if I can't get a ticket for an away match with Derby. Even sadder, I'm going to Abbey Hulton United v New Mills this Saturday as there's naff all else on. I don't do Premier League at all. Not even on a pub tele.

I'm that confident that we're going up automatically that I'm just about to buy a ticket for Count Arthur Strong at buxton opera house on Friday the 3rd. Nearly sold out and no membership pecking order. 😉

I can't stand for the whole match nowadays. When it gets unbearable I just leave the ground. I was going to go to Darlington the other week to watch buxton till I read that all seating was for home season ticket holders. I'd presume they would have to make arrangements for disabled.

I really can't understand all of this. Nobody's actually bought a ticket so haven't lost any money. Those that have already booked hotels, trains etc. Why? Look at it another way, those that can't go through no fault of their own have a better chance of seeing it even if it is on a subscription tv channel.

I'm in that period where I've had to retire, health reasons, but am not old enough for concessions. Early sixties. I'll probably renew but will have to move seats and the grand kids will just have to do without. 🐏

I should say "a day out" then but I do have a few but if I was having to drive it'd be zero. Have to relax and enjoy and not get all tensed up about the game. Also like a good look around different towns and cities in our country. Have over done it years ago with the boooze but them days are gone. 👍

I always use the train for away days. Taken the survey too, but then realised I ain't been away with Derby to many times this season due to selling out a lot so been following local non league. Good days on the beer though. Coach or car and no boooze. No ta. 🍺⚽🚂
