Anniversary of the lads death, I’ve just been watching SSN showing what tributes are being done for the lad.......does anyone else still feel Cardiff’s actions after his death all wrong, I honestly think they have a nerve honouring him as 1 of there own, it really doesn’t sit right with me how they acted, and there chairman’s just been on saying they did nothing wrong.....the player signed a contract, he’d posted farewell pictures with his Nantes teammates....he was a Cardiff player they should have paid the money, I just find Cardiff’s actions very distasteful

Yes absolutely they totally cheapened the guys death by demonstrating that money grubbing was their first and foremost priority. Distasteful in the extreme.

EtoileSportiveDeDerby reacted to Day in Depression, anxiety, stress and other related issues
Sticking this in here. Not posting my backstory again.
4 months ago it was a challenge to drag me off the sofa to go to the corner shop.
Yesterday I got back from what was a 7hr road trip back from Edinburgh with my now fiancé and today just completed a 7hr tattoo session.
Blows my mind just thinking where I was and where I am.
The sleeve has real meaning throughout, and with 3hrs left to complete the cloud fillers I’m feeling a tad emotional shall we say thinking how far I’ve come.
Some pics are on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (day82_) of it wrapped for those that I bore on there, will post the finished sleeve on the 28th.....day before this forums birthday, forum which has been a huge part of my life/recovery thanks to you horrible lot.
For anyone that’s struggling, don’t be afraid to talk, and don’t be afraid to see the doctor. For years I was too proud, too stubborn, too scared to see the doctor, I had visions of medication zombiefying me, told the doc my fears and the only way I can explain it is....I’m now me, the real me.
It’s ok to not be ok, but don’t settle for not being ok and drowning in male pride, life’s too short to scramble your way through it. My PM’s are always open.

Thank you for the kind words again everyone it truly means a lot to me and the mrs! An update on the rollercoaster of emotions is as my messages last week there was fluid under the babies skin which shouldn't have been there so we had to go to grottingham on Thursday for a CVS, the experts had a scan before the test and I quote "we don't really know why you were sent here as at the minute everything seems to be fine, the down syndrome risk came back as 1 in 1668 which is good so they've told us to assume everything is normal and we need to go.back at the beginning of January for another scan to see what's what. To say I was a mess this last week was an understatement (so much so I was odd work sick) but this news was amazing and means at least until next month we can carry on as normal and enjoy christmas. ?

I've had some issues and posted a little about my late wife's cancer, ultimately being bereaved, the struggles I had to cope as a single dad of bereaved children and how it nearly finally broke me and how hard it hit me when my dog got sick this summer.
I thought I'd just share that I met a lovely widowed lady my age a couple of months ago, and she makes me happy. I make her happy. We're a couple now. Things can and do get better, no matter what life throws at you, you can smile again. Hang in there people.

Boxes of After 8, people eat the chocolate and leave the envelope. You look at the box thinking there is lots left and there are just empty envelopes

Hey guys, after not going to sleep until half 3 this morning due to all sorts of things running through my brain we went for the scan this morning at 8, after a little bit of a wait we were seen to be told that the baby was absolutely fine, had a heartbeat, 2 legs, 2 arms, was exactly where he/she should be and they didn’t know what caused the bleeding but there was nothing to suggest it was to do with the baby.
Move been absolutely petrified of the worst over the last couple of days but being told that was genuinely the best thing to ever happen to me. Over the moon ? not much to look at just yet as it’s only been cooking for 9 weeks 2 days but here they are! ?

Walked past them for a few weeks in the shops but today could not resist any longer. Mince pies, Aldi specialled selected all butter classic, only the best will do. Poke a whole in it drip feed a bit of rhum/cognac a few minutes in the oven a dollop of Vanilla ice cream, heaven on a plate. How many sleep till Xmas ?

think that's just the start, it can't be don't pay then you get 3 suspensions. Whilst they continue to refuse to pay I think they will be excluded from signing players, not fair on Nantes if this is the extent of the punishment

The silly mind games of Mrs Pastinaak.
She and the kids have been out all day leaving me and the dog to our own devices.
First thing she does when she gets in? Looks me up and down then hands me the car keys. "I forgot to go to the co op on the way home, can you nip?".
So I quite reasonably inform her that me and the dog stopped by the Jug & Glass on our walk at lunch and I had a half of lager so sadly I can't drive. She comes back with "Well that was 5 hours ago so that half will be well out your system by now, so can you nip?".
Of course I can't nip. I had 5 pints at the Jug and I've been necking Cobras all afternoon watching Spurs snap Toffee legs. She knows it and I know it.
This charade is becoming an all too regular occurrence.

1/ Teach them the difference between "of" and "have".
2/ When they are sad, pat them on the head, and say "Their, There, They're"
3/ DCFC "lose" games. Women from Nott***ham are "Loose". There's a difference!
4/ Do not encourage them to play Peek-a-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! It becomes a bad habit!
5/ @Boycie isn't actually that funny bloke from the telly... or anywhere else, for that matter!
6/ Teach them the difference between an eye and a horn. (No smut please... children are reading!)
7/ If they ain't truly into The Rams by the time they are 12, let them know the freebie season tickets run out, and you ain't wasting your money on a ticket for them... I'm looking at you, Grandson!
8/ If they are ever sick, tell them never to declare "I've add more van free", as someone may be filming them!
9/ @Red_Dawn is actually a man, despite having a girls name, so do not speak to him... and never accept sweets off him... he's a baddie!
10/ Avoid anything with 2 stars... Hotels, restaurants, football shirts...
