Mel. No.
A creative midfielder NOT a creative accountant.

I am sure the administrators will not be fazed by any ultimatum regarding selling the club by such a time

I sincerely hope it's a very Happy New Year - well, for everyone on the planet.
It's been an awful couple of years through the pandemic. The threat of war between Russia and Ukraine is scary. As though all of that isn't bad enough, climate change will have the biggest ever impact on humanity.
That all said, what keeps us all going is our shared love of football and, in particular, of Derby County. Football, sport, entertainment gives us a release from the stresses of our everyday lives. And yet, currently, supporting the Rams only seems to add to the stress.
Let's hope we get a new owner soon, put administration and points deductions behind us, and start building an entertaining and successful football club once again.
Finally, I just want to thank the Forum Admins for providing this platform. Thank you to all posters for your contributions - whether you are optimistic or pessimistic about the future - or no matter how you feel about Tom Lawrence - I have enjoyed reading your posts. Thank you for keeping the club close to me.
Very best wishes to you, your families and your friends.

Maybe we could all stand outside at 8 o'clock on a Thursday evening and give a round of applause for our brave footballers (or moo if you live in Belper)

My understanding is that whether they are being consumed at a party or just a gathering after a hard days work also need factoring into the modelling.

On today's Covid bingo its the number 7.
That's right folks, we are cutting the self isolation period from 10 to 7 days...but only if you're double jabbed of course.
Join us again tomorrow for the next instalment of Covid bingo.

Well l am a Rams Fan, and there were 4 recorded breaches of EFL rules on their website before Quantuma took over. Then there was the Administration process. Oh and P&S overspends in 3 of the 4 last trading years. Morris was wading in his own poo for the last 2 years of his tenure.

EtoileSportiveDeDerby reacted to r4derby in Christmas traditions
Sadly not surprising that this time of year is not all peace and joy for some, as evidenced when reading some of the comments. My prayer for you all is that you would find some comfort this year.
For us, with 3 small children running around, it’s presents and breakfast, then a trip to the park for some carols (local Salvation Army band playing) then lunch, movies and chocolate. We have lots more in the build up to the day.

Unfortunately I just tested positive which means I'll have to miss my sister's wedding and spend Christmas alone in my small city centre flat, very sad.

The scientists aren't looking at the bigger picture. They're not looking at the economy, or as society as a whole, but a narrow sector of it. This country has a lot more to factor in that just covid.

Adrian Chiles is standing in for Nicky Campbell on the 5Live phone-in this morning. he just had a guy on who said he was having all his family around for Christmas as he does every year.
None of them were vaxxed or have been tested and when asked if he didn't think he was putting his mother at risk said, and I poo you not, 'You're hardly likely to give it to the woman who gave birth o you, are you?'
That level of stupidity is difficult to comprehend.

That won't be a decision, accountants will tell him he has to accept it and publicly, Wayne will put a positive spin on it.... As Jan window comes to a close we will be begging clubs just to take the bigger earners like Lawrence off our hands, if a deal to buy the club is not looking likely.
Anyone who thinks Rooney will have any say in this at all is deluded. The only choice he may get is which player he wants to keep if its a choice of selling 1 of 2 players......

All about opinions mate.
Mine is that Will is one of the best players i've seen in a Derby shirt and I go back to 1970.

Why is wanting to see a player do well from our academy embarrassing?
I would say it's fairly normal football fan behaviour.
