Kieran Maguire isn’t an expert. He’s repeatedly had it in for Derby and grassed us up to the EFL. 

Online articles serve one purpose and that is to drive traffic to their websites to push subscriptions or put eyes on adverts. Sensationalist headlines like "Derby are going to be relegated and Mel Morris is set to be fired in to the centre of the sun on the next Tesla rocket" are how they go about it.
At best, they know as much as we do at this point. At worst, they have no idea and are just publishing assumptions based on no knowledge of the detail.

Alonso clearly doesn't have proof of funds, or the deposit required to satisfy the EFL. Bin him. Move on.

A fit and proper owners test and an EFL disciplinary hearing are not even remotely comparable. 
Alonso has been asked to provide proof of funds, seemingly a number of days ago. If he had provided it then we wouldn't be having this conversation as it would all be sorted. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what is going on.
Maybe he did sort it all out yesterday, but I doubt it. We'll find out soon enough.
