nogbad van 50 reacted to Elwood P Dowd in The Administration Thread
Andy
@DERBY5HIRE
this is what I have: Q1 - there are 2 bids, at just below the threshold to secure "golden share" at 40 mil 1 UK 1 US, BUT! the bids are NOT enough to pay football creditors and HMRC. That's all I have, for now, no idea when admin will make formal announcement #dcfc

it refreshing that Q can trust Andy to keep what he is told to himself and not share it on Social media??????

Let's again try to summarise our position only this time using visual metaphors . The first one depicts where we are right now.
Imagine all the 'good guys' are pulling on the lead and that the dog represents all of the current potential buyers...
For clarity, here's the same metaphor would look like if the buyers could actually
see some value in the deal and were keen to buy at the prices being quoted...
And to fix this problem, here's the erstwhile admins trying to persuade Morris (the dog in this case)
to drop the stadium cost and make all these problems go away forever...
Meanwhile, here's what we're all doing....
Hope this helps! x

Tomorrow is the deadline for bids to be submitted. Please don't confuse this with the deadline 4 weeks back where bids had to be submitted, completely different things.
Once bids are submitted tomorrow, Quantuma will assess those bids and discuss them over the weekend. Please don't confuse the assessing of bids with the assessing that has reportedly been taking place for the last 4 weeks since bids were submitted 4 weeks ago, as these are two totally different things.
Once discussed, quantuma hope to identify a PB and will present that to the EFL.
Not hard to understand really is it?

Are we paying in instalments of 50p?

No.
What we owe someone doesn't detract from us owning his registration, the same way you own your home even with a mortgage.
On the day we entered administration, we had £8.4m still to pay for the transfers of Bielik AND Jozwiak. At least £2.5m of this was Jozwiak, about £2m has apparently paid off for Bielik already, and some of the remaining £3.9m may actually be for performance related add-ons such as appearances or promotion.

Also, at what point do Rooney and Rosenior graduate from being novices? They've packed some experience into the short time they've been in charge. Had to deal with a lot more than some managers twice their age!

If anything happens on the managerial / coaching front we need to try and get Curtis Davies involved - can't imagine he will be able to play that many games next year.

Did you hear Eric Steele on the phone in last night, when we were closer to being wound up in 1984 than we are now, run down stadium, crap training facilities, crowds circa 12-13k maybe, 6 players at pre season and needing a new manager..... a new start, there are 100's of out of contract players that would be more than happy to be involved in a club like Derby. As for manager, if WR does leave then again there will be a queue of people looking at this as a major challenge, Arthur Cox left the mighty Newcastle with the likes of Waddle, Beardsley and Keegan in the team after getting them promoted to the top flight and ended up here!

I’ve always been a “ glass half full “ type and tried ,despite the constant negativity ,to look for the positives in all situations but ,as a supporter for the last 58 years ,my glass has finally cracked! It was awful under Maxwell ,the 3 Amigos and Docherty but I can’t remember feeling this low about the Club’s future.Last night just seemed like another nail in the coffin,so much so that I can’t envisage listening to the local radio commentaries, reading the local paper’s regurgitated reports or watching us on SKY tv any more.
I’ll come back to this thread when it reaches 1200 and see if anything’s changed but, somehow ,I doubt it.
Following DCFC is not good for your mental health and we all know there are much more serious problems out there but bloody hell,Enough !?

Whilst I fully understand that this is a complicated business negotiation that cant be done like buying a pack of crisps, whoever buys the club needs fans as a revenue stream whatever division we are in. CK seemed to get this. The decline in spirit from all connected to the club is noticeable. We need a lift. A PB announcement and big "I am here to save the club" type statement is sorely needed right now.
