I ducking hope Collins scores and shuts up some of the vile, primitive nobs on here that masquerade as fans. Just find someone to hate why don’t you. He scored in The last preseason, he hit double figures last season in a make shift team. He isn’t a genius but he’s a good lad and doesn’t deserve the total garbage coming form some quarters

Just think some of the replies have been a little over dramatic for a pre season friendly, as I say 4 days after running around in the Spanish heatwave.

If the club were to sign Rhodes - to give us three strikers in him, Collins and Washington - it would be very rare (if ever) that all three are on the pitch at the same time. What is more likely (given a two up top formation) is that any two of those three are on the pitch for virtually every minute of league football next season. That equates to 8,280 minutes of match time between them.
If the trio contributed one goal between them for every 200 minutes of match time played, that equates to 41 league goals over the season - that's eight more than McGoldrick and Collins achieved last season. 
Point of this is that instead of getting hooked up on the taste of the individual ingredients, lets concentrate on the taste of the cake... and let the coaching team get on and bake it!

I gave up @angieram. The moaning groaning Battalion clearly written off JR PW DCFC and anything else that might stimulates the tastebuds. Even those feeling underwhelmed what do you know the reasons behind this? Could be all sorts of factors. SUPPORT YOUR CLUB. Please. 
Because there are so many unemployed managers on here who clearly know way more than PW and anything going on behind the scenes at Derby I guess we have to expect a season of abject failure. 
Moat of us have had to deal with some poo in our lives and I know a positive attitude towards anything can achieve a hell of a lot. 
Can’t wait for our new team to run out in the black and white…. And of course wonderful white socks. The futures bright 

 

Honestly, I have no clue what’s gone on here. I was told this morning he was at Moor Farm yesterday and has agreed to sign. Wether Huddersfield have pulled out last minute I don’t know. If JCH is off to Coventry then maybe it frees Matty Godden up and we’d rather spend the wages there?

Time will tell. Perfectly feasible that terms were being discussed yesterday, including his own personal terms. The latter might have been agreed. The two clubs agree to continue to negotiate during today as there are some aspects on which they might not be agreed. Till then he continues to be part of the Huddersfield squad, and takes some part in a very low key, behind closed doors, warm up match against Accrington where it is agreed that the fixture be part of both team’s conditioning programme rather than a truly competitive match. He comes through that game, and in the meantime the clubs tie up loose ends over the phone followed by email agreement. I am happy to keep an open mind.

I'd imagine nobody in League One can afford JCH. Probably a lot of Champ teams too. (I'm sure I read WBA were linked with a £4 Millon move)
