Forgot you reviewed this and watched it with the kids on Fri.
Very fair review. Interesting,  reasonably slow, thought provoking.. thought the ending was slightly telegraphed but a decent and engaging film.

Knox Goes Away - wasn't really sure what to expect of this movie as I watched it on a whim and without knowing anything about it. Michael Keaton directs and stars as a hitman whose doctor initially misdiagnoses Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, a rapidly progressive neurodegenerative disorder, as Alzheimer's. Upon learning that he has only weeks remaining, rather than months or years, he sets about completing a last contract, then 'cleaning house' before the inevitable, but not all goes go according to plan.
It's leisurely paced and perhaps a little short on the 'action' normally associated with films of this ilk, being a little more melancholy and cerebral in its approach, but I really liked it. Keaton, in particular, is very good in the lead role and handles the direction deftly too and delivers a decent twist without telegraphing it.
Don't be put off by the Saban Films link. It's not a Saban film, they just bought the distribution rights.

    What celebration?
Just watched his goals again and for the first he runs off and celebrates wildly with the other players.  The 2nd he briefly stands with his arms out accepting the applause and then celebrates with other players and then claps the fans...

I commented this at half time.  We were really in charge, played aggressively and looked dominate.
However, we actually created little from open play. Without the corner routines would we have not scored and the game become another stalemate? I honestly don't know. We played better than we have other weeks, the formation worked better... but may the same worries have resurfaced (and more to the point - could they this weekend)?
It didn't matter,  I'm not being churlish... or negative.
It's not a black or white opinion. When things go right from the beginning we look really strong and like we will never concede a goal. When they don't we can't seem to adapt on the field and we can look particularly clueless.
One more good performance next weekend and it should be an open goal even we can't f*** up.

Defence was as rock solid as ever.
Nelson was quiet really as Cashin attacked the ball defensively and Bradley offensively.
Sibley worked his backside off and was his best game in a long while. Wilson was up and down like an animal and so strong. They made it a back 5 and a back 3 as and when needed.
Smith,  Adams and Thompson all-action,  scrapping,  ratting and running the game.
Collins won a lot of headers and NML without looking especially likely to score or assist (and missed a good chance) was full of beans again.
No poor performances. Got the goals,  dictated the game.
Another Warne masterclass when we score early.
Even looked like we may create a goal from open play 2nd half.
    We went from a 2/10 performance to a 9/10 in 4 days.
One last big performance next weekend and hopefully we can watch a procession on the last day.

It's because you've posted a lot on this forum and have articulate and seemingly well considered views. You do tred the line on arrogance though, which winds people up, especially when you seem to be posting just to get reactions. Why post the same opinion on next season in the matchday thread every time we win? It's not even relevant to the match.
The people who post personal remarks about Warne and players are nobodies, no one really cares what they say.
You are a celebrity on here. With great power come great responsibility.

To be fair, very few Derby fans could see goals in that line up and they were correct. Not to be churlish about a 3-0 win but we didn’t score from open play although we could’ve had 3 had chances gone in. But credit to the management team who saw the weakness in Orient’s back line.

Today he was impeccable all round.
I think for the future, Cashin and Nelson look better players. Plus Niambe and Forsyth have been great too... and all 4 are big strong lads who you can rely on. But as a group they aren't blessed with pace and/or age.. for that reason I'm not sure Bradley is what we need.
But Warne's recruitment has generally been decent imo so hopefully he can find someone over the summer.

I say it’s clear to anyone without an agenda that Warne has signed players both with technical ability (Ward, Wilson, Embleton, John-Jules, CBT) AND those with physicality in their game (Nelson, Nyambe, Bradley, Adams).
He does favour an athleticism to his sides, but acting as though he hasn’t also signed and played players with some technical ability is very much the pushing of an agenda that goes on on here and amongst the fan base. How can some people claim he’s stubborn in his selection of Hourihane in one breath then say he only uses physical players in another?

We’re not a perfect team, there’s been some frustrating games this season for sure and some shocking performances, there’s also been some good stuff too.
I really find the stance of “this or that” to be so tedious.
Being objective I think people should be able to admit there’s at least some use of technical players this season and last (McGoldrick, Sibley, NML, Hourihane, Barkhuizen, Ward, Wilson, Bird) alongside the athleticism of others. Almost as if the team needed a blend of both and it’s worked to the point of putting the side in touching distance of automatic promotion…. But that’s just my opinion 🤷🏻‍♂️
