RammingStone66 reacted to Day in Please don't go on the pitch tomorrow.
There has been social media campaigns to see fans on the pitch. Bringing attention to our dire situation.
Going on the pitch tomorrow will only hurt the club, as in the staff, management and players.
Quantuma, EFL, will not have a sleepless night.
We are in desperate times, I understand, feel the frustration and anger.
I have created this topic using my own voice, my own thoughts with no communication from anyone at the club in the hope it keeps some fans off the pitch.
Just one fan, using his own voice asking you all to stop and think.
There has to be better ways in letting our voices be heard without affecting  the team.
So far this season, the one positive we can take is the support for this club, it's been second to none.
There is one man tomorrow that deserves that same level of support, one man that does not deserve to see his remaining games abandoned for crowd trouble.
    Wayne Rooney.
    Come on Derby!

Sounded like a shot at MA to me. It's seems to be he is just biding his time waiting for it to collapse or for people to get desperate so he can swoop in.
Him not playing ball with the timelines etc is very much his style as I worked close to him about a decade ago and he is truly ruthless.

    Yep 100% agree.
You explained it better than my half awake ramble!
It seems interested parties value the whole package at c£30m whereas at the moment it needs c£50m
I don`t see the creditors shifting, I don`t see the bidders shifting. Regardless of what we think, the Club has a maximum value as a "Business" and we have to detach "emotional value" from the situation, because it appears that there is no one in the frame that shares that emotion with the cash reserves to back it up.

Exactly what makes sense to me. Ashley has named his price but said he expects Mel to throw in the stadium, seeing as he is the huge Derby fan who got them into this mess.
Administrators have been scratching round looking at other options and hoping that will force his hand, but all are complicated arrangements and not cash-rich like Ashley.
Mel is pushing them to hang-on for a better offer elsewhere, whilst Ashley stays firm waiting in the wings, saying he doesn't care what happens if Mel doesn't back down.

The DET/Derbyshire Live now following Percy in a more direct approach calling all parties to find a solution. Again I’m aware it doesn’t tell us anything new but at least the media are started to call it out from a similar perspective to a lot of the fan base, which is; for now forget blaming each other/posturing and just get a solution for the club’s future sorted ?

Blindingly obvious any buyer wants some equity if they are paying £30 million for 5 contracted players so the ground has to be balanced into that fee MM made this mess and only MM can sort it out - if he had not put us into Administration he probably could have sold the club with the stadium as a championship club to the likes of your Ashley or Appleby. MM mistakes put us in this position yet us supporters get to be the main ones suffering, sort it out MM or things start getting very difficult for you I suspect in so many ways that I don’t wish to even think about.

Very true and also what do deep pockets matter when the EFL is probably going to have seriously hard restrictions on what we can spend and I wouldn't be surprised if they had us on that for 2-3 seasons to "protect the club" ?
There are people out there who still think we have got off lightly in all this lol, ridiculous but true.

It will take us a lot longer than it did rangers, the english leagues are a lot harder than the scottish leagues, i just cant believe people think its going to be so easy to start again and get back to where we are now.

Just listening to Rooney's Press Conference and the praise he has for the players - young and old.
I'm filled with anger at the current situation, frustration, but most of all with sadness.
They're a great group of players. Rooney, himself, is growing as a manager.
I'm sure the state of the club has helped them pull together.
But, nonetheless, I wonder what they could have gone on to achieve but, we're losing them, one by one at the moment, with Ebosele the latest to go. And Rooney is saying "the team will be ripped apart in the summer". That's because, in his view, Festy is the only one who would go abroad, so the others have to wait until their contracts are up in the summer so they can move to other English clubs.
It's heartbreaking to think what they may have achieved if we'd been able to keep them all together.
Even now, there is still a chance if a sale is made before too long. I'm just not that hopeful anymore. Tragic. COYR ?

I get the administrators can't give us blow by blow updates on the individual bidders, but some explanation about the rationale wouldn't go amiss!
Makes no sense for players to be leaving for nothing when they could be worth millions if we had an owner who could renew their contracts. Seem to be trying to save a few million on the purchase but potentially losing a lot more in future sales, plus these players will need replacing anyway and if they are inferior and unproven then they are buying a club that could sink without trace, where's the sense?

He is thinking about his short, medium and long term career plans. He needs to know he wont be scrapping around with hundreds of other free agents in the summer. His career, quite rightly, takes priority over anything we are looking at.

I must say that this wait isn't helping anyone and just increasing any anger felt towards Q and any potential new owners.
If this drags on untill after the end of the season and most of our team and youth walk out the door for £0 and we forced to find potentially 30+ players in a very short window. That creates a level of chaos that's hard for any club to deal with, imagine being 3 months late planning pre season then having to do it while trying to find and buy 30+ players under a strict budget and EFL oversight.
Then there is the probable 15 point penalty......I remember reading that no one in league history has survived a 12 point penalty never mind 15 or 21 points. So surviving 15 would still be a miracle season.
Any new owner who is ok with allowing the club to fall apart to the point that even surviving in league 1 could be very very difficult is not the ideal person I'd want for the club. I know we can't be choosy and at least having DCFC is better than oblivion but it's hard to swallow how bad of a position we could be in if this drags on.
I hope that it can be done and the youth can be retained and we can build up from them.

I don't think I've ever been outspoken on Mel's tenure, tbh.
I made a comedy post in his early days, received a warning for it which I still say was well over the top, which saw me subbed into the initial meeting as a late replacement, I assume as an anti Mel poster.
I swallowed every bit of bull he delivered that day, hook line and sinker, and came out of the meeting thinking he was a genuine guy who had a plan, which we should follow, and I asked people on here to have faith with him.
Some things didn't sit right, both then and afterwards,  but I brushed them aside for a long while as I'd been taken in, in fairness he's a superb orator when faced with a small group, as we were.
He pulled the wool over my eyes for sure, and I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that on this forum.

No much point in the youth system bearing fruit when at this rate we will have lost just about every decent player in the system to other teams or to not being able to actually sign them to contracts.
What a brilliant tactic by Mel, sink loads into the academy and when it actually produces put us in admin forcing the best players to be sold for peanuts or leave because we can't sign them ?. Also the expense of the academy is probably hurting us financially at the moment.
I mean thank god there were so many gems in the academy to help this season but I'm worried what will be left of it by the time this is over and I'd be surprised if any new owner would want to fund it as well as Mel did.
But I'm not sure how Mel spending lots of money absolves anything he did in this situation.

I was one who backed/ trusted Morris for a long time so probably one of those being criticised by earlier post but here’s the rub , in my eyes we had a very astute business man at the helm who had made a not so small fortune before buying us , he claimed and appeared to be a true derby fan who saw his role as custodian of the club rather than owner , he constantly told everyone when asked that derby were very much ffp compliant and he was pouring his own money in to build a sustainable premiership club on the lines of a Southampton,
would I have applauded the big spend if I had the slightest idea where this was going and what the man’s actions would eventually be ?
    would I hell
like a lot of derby fans I / we trusted and were taken in by a so called one of our own who turned out to be someone who took a gamble when we were on the verge of promotion and carried on the gamble until we were/ are almost out of existence , the damage that will do to ordinary people , the city, the county is unforgivable ??‍♂️
