MK-Ram reacted to Ghost of Clough in The Administration Thread
You can hope but it wouldn't happen ?
Teams as far south as Gloucester City and Brackley Town are in the Northern section, Meanwhile Oxford City are the furthest North in the Southern Section.

If it is Conference North, then we'd be at my local team's level, Alfreton, who get 300-400 on a decent day.
The town could barely handle it when Mansfield were in town, Derby would sap our pubs dry in an hour.

I am not opposed to Conference North! We are a top 20 club in terms of fan base. We would be back in the Championship before we knew it.
I don't think we should kowtow.
I think the worst case scenario - if it might be conference North - is not as bad as giving Middlesbrough £45m.
It's an interesting question! How much would be too much? £1, £1m, £10m, £45m ...

Late bid from the Erik Alonso consortium. Offered Steve Gibson a weekend in his house and the deal was done.

Brilliant summary. The fact it has been called out by MPs that the EFL were not up to date is the stinker for me...surely that settles jt??!

Would echo this, particularly the comment about @David's pinned update thread...hoping that will enable me to be a bit more productive today rather than wading through all the comments looking for a glimmer of hope.
Let's hope we have many more years of DCFCFans ahead of us and, maybe next season, we can have a forum gathering before the home game against MFC. Let's face it, if we get through this, getting out of the relegation zone would seem like a walk in the park In comparison...

Mad thought; instead a million individual meetings of the affected parties with MPs, councillors, fan groups, media types, that guy who once did that thing, milkman, etc etc. why not have one, with 4 groups in a room and stay there until something is sorted.

MK-Ram got a reaction from Crewton in Steve Gibson trying to liquidate Derby
It would help if any of the players we had overspent on had been any good. Apart from Vydra (who left at the beginning of that season) and Bielik (who joined the season after and has been injured ever since), anyone else we overpaid for has been mediocre at best.
Our best players were always those at reasonable fees (I e. Bryson, Keogh), on frees (Martin), or who had come through the academy (Bogle).
If we had signed Mount, Tomori, and Wilson on permanents then I would see the point. At the time, however, all three were reasonable championship loans. Wilson and Tomori had just been at Hull, not Barcelona.

While all this is going on I would like to thank this site for being the best place to stay on top of all the happenings in this admin / EFL / claims case. Like most fans I have been searching online for the latest facts and over the last few days this site has become the most reliable. Fans have been providing links to any news regularly and I particularly like the pinned thread by @David giving the latest updates.
Well done everyone and thank you. In our time of stress, and at times panic, this site has been hugely valuable.

Most of the knuckle draggers are to dumb to get it..they think liquidation is a new Japanese beer.
